Linus placed a supportive hand on Ryker's shoulder. "We know it's not easy, Ryker, but we have to know our places. Love can be complicated, and sometimes it requires patience and understanding."

Ryker let out a sigh, acknowledging the truth in his friends' words. "You're right. I just found out about my feelings for her recently, so I'll do my best to handle this maturely."

After that, the four returned to their table. Hours passed by, and their lunch turned into an afternoon filled with laughter and genuine connection. Itzy realized that her decision to focus on the positive had paid off. She had a wonderful time with Ajax, and it helped her forget about the lingering tension between her and Jace.
