Hade was woken up by the rumbling sound of his tummy. The bright lights in the room did him no justice as they assaulted his retinas the moment he opened his eyes.
"Argghh," He groaned as he forced himself to sit up. The back of his head was sore and his limbs felt stiff.
"Damnit, did I black out on the floor again?" He wondered aloud. Just at what time did he sleep last night?
Hade massaged the back of his neck as he looked at the holo watch on his desk.
'6:03,' the blinking electronic device reported and,
"Just f*cking great," Hade smiled wryly. He had completely lost track of time! Again!
As boring and as arduous as meditation was, once you got into it, it was very easy to get carried away. In fact, if you weren't careful enough, hours and hours could flow by while only mere minutes would've passed in your head.
Hade had meditated for about 2 or 3 hours yesterday, or so he thought. His memory was still a bit fuzzy...
