The bluenette tilted her head up as if deep in thought. She only smiled as she turned to face me, "I was already spotted by the time I moved to get back here. But from what I recall, they didn't seem to be mobilizing to return home."

I blinked at the information. I heard Amelie wail in despair in the background as I did my best to salvage the situation. I'm sure Mathilde and Alset already had some sort of idea based on what we've just heard, but I still had to look like a decent leader for the show of it.

"We can see a part of the capital from here, right?" I absently asked nobody in particular. "Has news of the war being over already reached the populace? Maybe we can still make it happen..."
