I calmly drank my tea in the face of Flare's slanderous truth. Well, it wasn't really slander, so much as it was really the truth. "Why do you even want to suffer?" she inquisitively asked with a smile. "You know you have an aversion to adversity, and yet you willingly take on the worst tests wholly unprepared."

 

I almost did a double-take as Flare told me something so stupid that I found it hard to believe I was even hearing her right.

 

"I'm not that insane," I condescendingly refuted her claim. "I at least prepare for stuff like that."

"And yet you're still here talking about it."
