"I can see it," I nodded sagely. "I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the opinion, Lise."
"No problem," Lise beamed. "Feel free to ask for help. Didn't you always tell that to me?"
I chuckled at my sister's passing jab, "That I did."
Shaking my head, I returned my attention to the sketch, erasing the series of transmission gears that I had designed in favor of something simpler. The complicated set of gears was probably prone to breakdowns and failure anyway.
"Best to have only one point of failure..."
Drifting to the front of the engine's schematics, I eyed the transmission rod and elected to add a few more centimeters to its length. It'll probably weaken the overall strength of the thing, but it was a small price to pay for the engine to even work beyond thirty minutes.
"Right... back to the mechanism..."
