39.3 Self-Reflection

My vision began to swirl as more of these memory photographs started forming in the front of my mind. Places and concepts that I was sure I hadn't learned or ever been to before felt like actual memories instead of feeling like distant locations that I had only ever seen in pictures. People I had never met before suddenly assaulted my ears as their voices made themselves heard. But at the same time, I could never place a finger on their names, identities, or even their significance to this version of me as I looked on as a bystander to my own second life.

 

"Rouge? Are you okay?"

 

I shook my head as I closed my eyes in pain, the throbbing migraine from before turning into a full clusterfvck of a headache as I felt my knees weaken at the amount of pain.
