Chapter 121 - Power

 "I miss Reynard." Esme sat curled up with Selana standing right beside her. I wish I can just see him right now. 

"I understand how you must feel." Selena stated and her eyes dimmed. "If I haven't met him and I feel this way then I can imagine what you must feel." 

"I miss him too much." 

"I don't believe what Lucifer has planned for you, but I know it can't be something trival otherwise he wouldn't have brought you to hell. 

"I know and that is what I'm worried about. I don't want to be used as the leash used in luring Reynard back here."

"What? Reynard was here? 

"Yes, he was. In fact his soul is still here in Hell." 

"How? Selena exclaimed. "Lucifer never let go of any soul he takes he eats them up.

"He eats up the souls? Esme asked alarmed. I thought he keeps them bottled up somewhere.

"He keeps some but he devours some immediately they arrive." 

"He couldn't have eaten Reynard's soul can he?"
