Chapter 14: Gala 5

He moved away from me slowly, without much words he held my wrist and took me to a room. "What are you doing?, Please this is a misunderstanding I'm supposed to be at the gala now!" I said in a panicked tone, trying to cover the fear that engolfed me right now.

"So what are you doing out here?" He brought out a wine with two glass and placed it on the table. What is he planning to do? Why did he bring out a wine? I was panick striken "I...I only came out for fresh air cause I was a little upset!" I said

Just then I remembered that I was the one chosen to marry the so called Mr Alex Wilson, I decided to threaten this Demi God in front of me so I can get out of here besides dad said the Wilson's are the most powerful family in New York.

I was sure this man would let me go after listening to what I was about to say. I thought to myself, imediately a certain kind of confidence sparked in my eyes. I crossed my hands on my chest, raised my chin and looked at him. A small grin fell on my lips. "If I were you I wouldn't put another man's wife in my room!" I said to him in a serious tone. He raised his head to look at me cocking his brows.

"Is that so..?" He sat on the sofa so comfortably crossing his legs and took a sip of the wine. "So tell me about this husband of yours!" He looked at me with an expressionless face his black cold ice eyes starring at me so intently like it was starring into my soul. I gulped and tried to push my fears aside, if I want to get out of this place I need to be a 100% confident.

"Oh then I guess you must not have heard that I'm the wife of the famous Mr Wilson, it was supposed to be announced tonight!" A mischievous grin appeared on his lips and I gulped. 'why is he not scared of hearing the Wilson's family name I thought they were the most powerful' I thought to myself, then I realized I've began to panick "you wouldn't want to face the wrath of my husband!" I said and noticed the grin on his face dropped and his face became expressionless again.

"There's no point in threatening me with myself, come sit, and don't worry I wouldn't do anything to you at least not now!" He pointed at the empty sofa in front of him.

My eyes widened, I was astonished and my heart started papiltating so fast. Just to confirm what I just heard "Who are you?" I found myself asking. He took another sip of the wine in his hands. "I'm your husband, now come sit you have some papers to sign that's why I brought you here in the first place!". He got up and walked into a room.

 Here i was thinking I was fooling someone, I didn't know I walked into the Lions den.
