When verlin opened his eyes, he realized not much had changed. It was still dark and silent, but the feeling wasn't nearly as pleasant as before, when he tried looking around for directions he immediately noticed he had a body, although he wasn't sure what it looked like at least he knows he once again had a functioning body.
But then a sudden brightness hit his eyes, so bright he could barely look at it, but he felt good, in fact he felt so good he felt like this is where he truly belonged, he felt like he has said this alot recently, but this time was different, he wasnt sure whether it was him or just his body enjoying it , but he felt truly happy. After getting off his little high, he started really looking for answers. That's when he looked downwards and saw a large blue planet.
"...."
And it seemed his time on Air Canada has just come to an end, as the planets gravity started acting on him, his body started falling uncontrollably towards the planet, he felt like this was truly the end, the beginning to the end of his new life, or is the the end of the beginning? at this point, it didn't matter as he entered the planets atmosphere, the friction from his body coming in contact with air caused his body to light up like fireworks as he made his way down to once again experience the sweet embrace of death.
If anyone could see him right now, they would see a naked humanoid figure moving at speeds above mach 40. Normally, this would be impossible because the human body can not take so much force without you know turning to pasta sauce, but it was happening and would be landing in less than a minute.
Verlin, at this point, wasn't sure if his current physique would be able to even survive the impact, but even as his body seemed to be on fire, he didn't hurt as much as he expected or even at all, but falling from orbit to the ground at mach 50 wasn't the same as being on fire. He just hoped he was as far away from civilization as possible because this impact was not gonna be pretty. As he really opened his eyes to see where he was gonna land, he saw a mountain , but he wasn't sure which continent he was. When he was making his way down, he kept his eyes closed.
"Boom."
He hit the Mountain, and the explosion was much bigger than he previously estimated as after he hit the mountain and turned it to debris he kept going and hit the ground with enough force to make it seem like it was an earthquake.
After a couple of seconds, Verlin stood up to find himself in a massive crater more than 20 meters deep and 200 meters wide, he couldn't believe it, first he had survive completely intact and second the impact was bit big especially for something his size, but he didn't have time to thing before his sense started buzzing out and his hearing starting giving him a massive headache. But little did Verlin know that the Shockwave from his impact is still traveling and heading for a nearby city.
