Chapter 39: A Living Weapon

Vampire-human child? Sidia was terrified at the idea. How could such a thing be possible? She briefly wondered if she would need to fear the result of her union with Marcus. Would that result in a child? Surely not if Blood Magic was required. Marcus would never allow such a thing to occur without warning her anyway.

She turned her attention back to the prose, still standing next to her bed as she read the pages. The more she learned, the more she pieced together the plan Severus had in mind for her.

The author of the journal was adamant that a vampire-human child would be difficult to produce but quite wonderful to see. Despite its place in the cautionary tales, he didn’t seem opposed to the idea.
