"They... Didn't work?" He couldn't hide the disbelief in his tone, even though he had seen Lester and the other students kicking the shit out of Nikolai, and almost...

He didn't want to think about it, but he found it really hard to believe, that even Nikolai would come off like that.

"Hard to believe, I know." Nikolai retorted. "But even now, we don't feel any power coursing through us."

"I can't even..." Evellyn looked to the floor.

"You mean you can's use even your Precognition?" Kurt's eyes went wide.

Both Nikolai and Evellyn looked at him like he was the one telling them he couldn't use his powers.

"How do you know about it?"

Kurt coughed, knowing he'd fucked up, but decided to not be completely dishonest.
