"Cane, I think you really need to get some rest first." Jace looked at the alpha and was very concern about his condition. He just woke up after months of being unconscious. It must have taken a toll on his body, seeing how his wounds didn't heal yet.

However, the first thing he did when he opened his eyes was to find a way to deal with the situation. The beta felt so uneasy, lest his condition worsened. He could see the impact of his presence to the moral of the warriors.

If he fell, they would lose hope again. Jace knew very well how atrocious it was to be given hope only to be taken away, leaving you in deeper misery.

"Where is them?" Cane ignored Jace concerned. He didn't want to wait at all. He had kept her wait for months.

"Them? Who?" Jace turned around and watched all the people, who followed Cane here.
