Chapter 26

The day before spring break begins...

"Oh, you're still here?" Pres asked Twilight.

"Yeah. Kendo club ended a few minutes ago, and I was about to head home."

"Oh."

"Anyway, I should get going. I don't want to keep Rengoku waiting for long. See you after spring break."

She was about to walk out, but he stopped her and roughly pinned her against the wall.

"Little wolf, aren't you far from home?"

"I don't see how that's supposed to concern you."

He gripped her neck.

"You're in no position to be rude."

"You're not being a gentleman yourself. What do you want?"

"Don't think I don't know you're the princess. All I have to do is mark you, and you'll be mine."

"Thanks, but no thanks, you're not my type. I'm not into batshit crazy bastards."

"That mouth of yours isn't doing you any favours. Maybe I should shut you up."

He roughly kissed her, but she bit him hard enough to draw blood.

"So, that's how you want to play it?"

He tightened his grip and used his other hand to unbutton her shirt enough to expose her collarbone and shoulders.

"No mark I see, just my luck. Making you mine will be a whole lot easier."

He extended his canines and was ready to mark her. Just before his teeth penetrated her skin, she punched him in the gut and kneed his groin. When he let go of her, she tackled him to the ground and delivered an elbow drop to his already painful abdomen. But it wasn't enough to stop him. He got up and threw her across the room. She collided with the wall, and pain shot through her back and arm.

"If you wanted it rough, you could have just said so."

And if you so badly wanted me to kick your ass, you could've said so."

He charged at her, but her guard appeared and lunged at him. They wrestled each other to the ground, clawing, biting and throwing punches.

After a while of struggling, Twilight saw an opening and broke a chair over the president's head. It fazed him a little, but the guard was able to restrain him.

"Princess, my deepest apologies for not arriving sooner. I should've taken that bathroom break later."

"It's alright, Sosuke. It's better than not showing up."

"What should I do with him?"

"We'll let the council decide his punishment. Preferably, he gets one year for every second I had to fight him. It was roughly four minutes."

"Understood. I'll have the others come and take him away."

Just then, Takumi came rushing in.

"Are you ok?" He asked while checking her for any more injuries.

"Yeah."

"Does it hurt?" He asked, looking at the handprint around her neck.

"No, I'm fine. Just a little tired."

"Thank goodness, I was really worried when you didn't show up, and then I heard weird noises," He pulled her into his arms and kissed her forehead. "I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner."

"It's ok. I've pretty much been learning how to fight my whole life, so handling him wasn't a big deal."

"Of course, it wasn't."

He ruffled her hair and then went over to the president and grabbed him by his shirt.

"She's not an object you can claim whenever you feel like it. She has feelings too, and you might want to try considering them before trying anything."

He punched him in the face, and it knocked him out cold.

"You pack quite a punch."

"Yeah, but yours are worse."

"Damn right, it is."

Takumi wrapped his arms around her.

"I'm glad that you're ok. I was really worried, you know."

"Worse things could've happened, but they didn't, so I'm sort of ok."

"Still, I should take you to the nurse's office. Just to be sure."

He gently picked her up and carried her to the nurse's office. When he set her down on the bed, she flinched and tightly gripped his shirt. Noticing this, he instead made her sit up on the bed.

"Take off the rest of your shirt."

When she did, he saw what he suspected. There was a large bruise on her lower back, but the one on her elbow didn't look as bad.

"It must be really bad since it hurts so much, right?" She asked.

"Don't think about it too much."

"Can you hand me bandages? I noticed just now that my hand is bleeding. No idea how that happened."

He began to treat her wounds while she took care of her hand.

"All done."

She turned to hug him.

"Thanks for what you said back there."

He gave her a head pat.

"Do you want me to give you a piggyback ride home?" He asked.

"No, it's ok. I can still walk."

"I'm still giving you one. And painkillers when we get home."

"Fine, but I'll keep nagging that I'm fine."

"Deal."

That night, she kept rolling onto her back in her sleep, and each time her face contorted with pain. So, he made her sleep on top of him, using his arms to hold her in place.

The next day, he woke up to find Twilight draped against the door frame. But he was more focused on what she was wearing. A very revealing bunny suit with a short skirt that provided enough coverage but not if she bent down or reach for something on a high shelf.

"Morning," She said in a sultry voice.

"Love the new look." He approved.

She walked over to him.

"You wanna know a secret?"

"Sure?"

She crawled on top of him.

"I'm not wearing any underwear." She whispered into his ear.

"Should make it easier for you to take me, right?" She asked.

"What about your back?"

"I can be on top. And don't worry about your clothes; I already took them off."

"In that case, let's skip the foreplay and get started."

He thrust into her.

"Oh yes, daddy."

He moved at a steady pace. Before he could release himself, he woke up.

"Just a dream." He thought. The only real part of it was that he did end up releasing himself. And what a mess it was.

"Are you ok? I heard weird noi..." She stopped at the sight before her. "Were you..."

"No, I just woke up."

"Oh, a wet dream," She tried not to laugh.

"Hey, it's not funny."

"Whatever you say. Good luck with... sorting yourself out."

After half an hour of cleaning up, he finished and found Twilight on the couch, reading another book.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked.

"Nothing," She blushed and closed the book quickly.

"Can't be nothing if it's got you so flustered."

"It's nothing."

"Yoink." He snatched it.

"Hey, give it back."

"Nope." He held it above his head, and obviously, she couldn't reach it no matter how hard she tried.

"So, this is what's got you so turned on. Didn't think you'd be into BL." He gave it back to her and sat down with her on his lap. "How's your back?"

"It's fully healed, and so is my hand and elbow. I have a few questions about your engagement."

"I was wondering when you were going to ask for more details. What do you want to know?"

"Does your mom hate me because of the engagement?"

"I wouldn't say hate, but most likely."

"How come your dad was so chill with me?"

"I'm not exactly sure, but I think it might have something to do with the fact that he didn't arrange it."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Our moms are childhood friends, and they wanted us to marry someone who meets their standards. That's how this whole thing started. My dad is ok with whomever I choose. Anything else you want to know?"

"No, you pretty much explained everything."

"Are you going back to the pack for spring break?"

"Yeah, I'm leaving tomorrow."

"I'll join you after a few days because there are some things I need to do first. But don't worry, I'll make it in time for your birthday."

"Ok."
