Message: XV

Callaghan moved to one of the corners she knew were the safest when it came to fight, and then she felt her palm pulsating with anticipation. Not that she had been a sociopath with a long history of violence, no. She just liked a good fight.

When she heard another step and managed to see the silhouette of the intruder, she jumped forward, reaching out her hands and pressing the baton to their throat. A loud hiss filled the air when the person attempted to catch a breath while Aria was trying to pretty much suffocate them.

"Ar..." she heard almost gurgling, and then she frowned, raised her eyebrow, eventually releasing the person a bit, but still not enough for them to be able to break free. "Aria, for... fuck's sake!" she heard rattling and she closed her eyes, inhaling and exhaling deeply.

She reached out her hand and switched the light on. A very bright fountain of yellow had illuminated the room, finally exposing the person Callaghan almost strangled to unconsciousness.

"Dude." She frowned, trying to keep her anger at bay. "Fuck my life, your mother and your non-existent cow, Mia, what the fuck are you doing here?!" she glanced at her watch. It was almost half past three a.m. "AT THIS HOUR?!"

"You said that I could... when I needed... and when..." Mia swallowed, looking into the angry eyes of her friend. Aria closed them again, trying to calm her breath, squeezing the base of her nose and praying to whatever and wherever to give her patience, for if it gave her strength, she would kill her own chosen sister.

"Yes. But why the fuck didn't you say anything?" she almost snarled and then she sniffed. "Wait a second. Alcohol." She sniffed again "Perfumes. You were in a club, weren't you."

"Yes. And..."

"Let me guess." She sighed. "You got into talk or dance and then you were into that person, you had sex, and then he or she left you for the sake of dancefloor, am I right? "

"Yes." She said quietly, sitting on the armrest of the couch and lowering her head. "I am so sorry, Aria, I didn't mean to..."

"We'll talk in the morning, Mia. You know where is the guest room." Callaghan didn't mean to let her feel sorry about everything or anything, actually. She sighed and then rolled her eyes, switching the lights off. "If you need anything, the fridge is in the same place. Have a good rest of the night. I recommend you to actually sleep even a bit."

"Thanks." Mia sighed, nodding and catching the railing. She followed the stairs up. When Aria heard the click of the door upstairs, she heard some scratching coming from the front door. She took her glock to other hand and then, pretty violently, she opened the door. She grimaced when she recognized the person who was standing in front of her even though she had absolutely no right to be there anymore.

"And what in the twisted fuck is your slutty ass doing here, huh?" she snarled, startling the intruder even more.
