Apparently, the bigger paper bag Vidia was holding was just a diversion.

Inside, was a tiny portable camera, connector, and her bag.

Vidia placed the camera at the edge where it can only see the sink.

Amanda had instructed her not to put it in any other direction.

' Hope it would work Mandy.' Vidia prayed.

' it's done!' Vidia messaged,

' You are very reliable, V' Amanda smiled.

She was thankful to have a loyal friend.

But sad she had lost it in her past life.

'Thank you!' Amanda replied.

Amanda got out of her room to the main hall where the banquet was held.

As Vidia went back to the banquet, Shannon and Sabrina rushed over to her.

"Here, have a drink. It'll quench your thirst." Shannon offered her a beautifully designed cocktail.

"Thanks," Vidia took a sip.

"How's it? I asked the chefs to make it special for you." Shannon smiled,

"Aww, you're so thoughtful, Shannon. You've made me proud." Sabrina exclaimed.

"Mom, you're teasing me in front of the guests." Shannon blushed, shy,

"Of course it you are. You're the star of the banquet." Edmund walked into them.

"Stop it! Edmund!" Shannon giggled.

' The scumbag's in' Vidia tried hard not to punch him.

"Where's Amanda?" Shannon asked cocking her head,

"Don't tell me she's still sleeping. That witch!" Edmund sneered.

The guests all looked at him.

"Did he just call his fiancee a witch?" one of them whispered,

"Yeah, he was so nice to Shannon. He even said she's hot." the other one agreed.

"Something's off about them." the other one joined.

"I'm here!" Amanda called as she walked to them.

Most of them gasped as they watched her.

She was like a goddess that appeared from heaven.

Edmund stared at her, mesmerized as she smiled at them.

Shannon, on the other hand, gave Edmund a little pinch on his arm to know she was still there.

"Sister! Where have you gone? I've been looking for you." Shannon walked up to her.

"I'm just busy preparing my gift," Amanda smiled as she offered her a box,

"Hope you like it."

Shannon slowly opened the gift and gasped as she saw it.

"It's so beautiful! I've never seen this kind of jewel before!" She exclaimed.

Inside, was a set of an emerald pendant necklace, an emerald bracelet, and a pair of emerald earrings, all combined with white gold and a silver lock.

"She's never seen an emerald?" one of the guests spoke.

Hearing the comment, everyone stifled a laugh.

That made Shannon, feel embarrassed, and looked at Amanda's eyes with pure hate.

"Calm down everyone. It's the design she was admiring." Edmund covered for her,

"Is he protecting her?" The crowd whispered at each other.

"I'm just trying to tell that it was the design she admired." Edmund reasoned,

"Yes, it's true." Shannon looked down.

Before things would get complicated, Simeon stepped in and made a welcoming message for everyone, and welcomed Shannon into the family.

As he finished his speech, everyone clapped and congratulated Shannon.

The guests then went to their seats as they watched the projector playing about Shannon.

After a while, Shannon exchanged glances with Edmund and winked.

Then Shannon excused herself to the bathroom.

Also seeing where Shannon went, Edmund followed her without anyone noticing except for Vidia, who had been keeping an eye on them.

'Now, that's the reason why Mandy told me to put the cam there' Vidia caught an eye to Amanda and gave the signal.

'Now, for the main event.' Amanda sneered as she watched the live video on her phone.

In a blink of an eye, Amanda did something with her phone and put it down.

'A normal person wouldn't see she did something suspicious' A person watched her from afar.

As the projector was showing a video of Shannon playing the piano, the video was interrupted then by a live video of two people lustfully kissing and undressing.

"Hey, isn't that Shannon?" one of the guests gasped,

"Yeah, and the other one was... Edmund?" the other one replied.

Watching the video, most of the male guests' faces turned red as they watched Edmund pull off Shannon's dress.

For a moment, the female guests and the other grown-ups shared disgusted looks.

"Turn off the projector!" Simeon yelled at one of the servants,

"But sir, we can't find which is the projector's wire." one of them said,

"Then take them all out!" Simeon shouted.
