On Election Day, voting spots were opened from early morning all over New Iceland.

For once, the human beings who strived so hard to hide away from the superior races flooded the voting spots to elect the new president.

Thanks to the citizens' enthusiasm, all votes were in by noon. Boxes containing voting papers were sent over to the Icelandic Parliament Building at Maerin for counting purposes.

The person in charge was a bald-headed old officer who everyone called Old Rickson.

Old Rickson had served in the Parliament since graduation. Alas, his bad temper did not give him a good reputation to begin with. His career path was basically cut off in the middle, and he was tasked with menial jobs as soon as he hit his forties.
