The idea was rejected by both Ryan and Hans at the same time.

"No way," Hans responded sternly.

"No," Ryan said, his face darkened from the mere suggestion.

Aiden pulled his lips into a thin line.

"I can protect myself..."

"It doesn't have to be you," Hans decided. He was not willing to negotiate. "We can put a tracker on a rabid vampire instead."

"Mark Parsons is quite a hi-tech expert. Maybe it's best if we rely on other methods of tracking."

"Like what?"

"Like blood affinity, for example."

Hans raised an eyebrow in recognition. Ryan's suggestion was quite viable.

Pure-blood vampires could use their blood to control rabid vampires remotely within a certain time period. It was not much different from what Aiden had done for the rabid vampires in his coven.

"That will work, until of course either Alexis or Izabella Hornthorpe feed them their own pure blood. The rabid vampires will be quite conflicted then."
