Ram felt very uncomfortable, because he saw someone he didn't want to see.

Knowing that he would eventually become enemies with Murphy, Ram had not expected that Murphy would appear before him tonight in such a manner.

If it weren't for the lives of tens of thousands of people on his back, Ram would let Murphy go, even though he knew that releasing Murphy would mean Murphy would continue to be his enemy, but Ram would still do it.

But now Ram couldn't because he wasn't alone, he couldn't just let Murphy go, that would be irresponsible to the Solar System Company.

What Ram could do was give up the opportunity to get a lot of information from Murphy, and if Murphy really refused to cooperate, then give him a quick and clean death.

It was helpless and saddening, all Ram could do was give his friend a painless death.

Of course, if Murphy were willing to defect, that would be the best outcome, but Ram thought it impossible.
