Into his arms

Hearing about this same J Group giving a proposal to Ji-Soo, Baek Su-Jin didn't think of anything else, and that was how she was easily used by Kim Ji-hun.

Thinking about her friend who was probably at the Airport now, she deemed it right to let her know about the proposal.

If in the end, she wasn't interested in it, that wouldn't hurt as the most important thing is to inform her and let her make her decision.

"You can't find Ji-Soo at her place because she is at the airport now."

"Airport?" Kim Ji-hun quickly sat upright with a twisted expression on his face. "What is she doing there?"

He was surprised by the turn of events but didn't want to let his thoughts get too far as he was afraid of something.

"What do you think one goes to the airport to do?" Baek Su-Jin retorted without mercy.

Rolling her eyes, she turned her gaze back to the computer screen before her.

Kim Ji-hun face-palmed his forehead as his lashes fluttered close. 'Where is that woman going to?!'

Fortunately, Su-Jin replied to him. "Ji-Soo is leaving the country. If you still want to catch a glimpse of her, you better hurry to the airport."

Checking the time on her table clock, she added, "Her flight is by 10: 30. You probably have roughly 30 minutes before she embarks on her flight."

Saying up to this point, she cut the conversation off and dumped her phone on her desk. Snorting, she went back to work.

"Kang Dae-Jung, just wait for me!" Muttering under her breath, her fingers went back to flying on the keyboard.

At the same time, Kim Ji-hun was still taken aback on learning about Oh Ji-Soo's plans to leave the country.

Informing the driver to change their destination to the airport, he sank into thoughts.

'Did that woman actually plan to leave this country?'

'Oh Ji-Soo, who said you can easily get rid of me?'

At that very moment, Kim Ji-hun promised to do anything possible and impossible to bring Oh Ji-Soo back to his line of sight.

He would never let that woman start life afresh without him in the picture.

Determined to bring her back even if she gets to the end of the world, he repeatedly turned his gaze to the window while tapping his fingers on his thighs.

***

Some minutes later, Kim Ji-hun arrived at the airport and immediately went inside the building in search of Oh Ji-Soo while checking the time on his wristwatch from time to time.

Before she checks in, he needed to know how much time he still had left.

Making his through the crowd, he let his eyes scan through everyone close and a bit far from him without making any noise.

He would have loved to shout Oh Ji-Soo's name, but knowing the woman might actually dodge him if she heard his voice since she went as far as blocking his contact, he didn't do it.

After a few minutes of searching, Kim Ji-hun failed to find her, but he didn't give up. He checked the time on his wristwatch again and discovered that it was 40 minutes from the time Ji-Soo's flight would leave.

Actually, after another 10 minutes would be up, he wouldn't be able to find her because she would have already headed for a security check.

Having known this fact, he continued to search for her, this time around, he headed for the security checkpoint and luckily for him, he finally saw that familiar figure making her way towards the same side.

Immediately, a sigh of relief escaped his lips as his gaze followed her. 'I finally found you.'

Initially, Kim JI-hun had been worried he wouldn't find her at the end but seeing her in front of his eyes now, he felt relieved.

But the next moment he saw that she was about to get in line, he quickly strode toward her in long strides.

Oh Ji-Soo was focused on getting in line to have her boarding pass and luggage checked so she didn't see the man coming for her nor hear the approaching footsteps from behind.

The next thing she experienced while looking at the others getting their passports checked, was a firm fist grabbing her arm.

She had almost wanted to scream in fright, but when her eyes met the face of the familiar man who made this trip possible, her parted lips closed up.

"Kim Ji-hun!"

"Oh Ji-Soo,' Kim Ji-hun called out, returning the same favour.

Shaking her hand off his grasp, Ji-Soo inquired in a low tone. "What are you doing here?"

She was truly surprised to see him and knowing that there were other people around them, her voice couldn't get any louder.

Seeing that he came all the way to the airport to find her, she very well knew that he had been looking for her and for him to make the effort in the first place, he needed her, badly.

Otherwise, with a man with so much pride like him, nothing would have made him want to look for the woman that insulted him in front of his staff or have anything to do with her.

It was normal for other people, what more of a man like him?

With her hand gone from his arm, Kim Ji-hun cleared his throat and looked around him to meet the curious gazes fixed on them.

Uncomfortable with it, he took Ji-Soo's hand again and started walking away from the security checkpoint, causing her to panic.

"Kim Ji-hun, where are you taking me to?" Oh ji-Soo asked with a frown covering her face as her brown ankle boots skidded on the floor while trying to keep up with his face.

Noticing that she was about to fall, Kim Ji-hun quickly stopped in his steps and turned to her side, to bring her into his arms.

As her soft body slammed into his chest, Oh Ji-Soo felt as if time had stopped.

'What the hell!' She screamed in her head while still trying to understand what was going on and how she landed in that man's arms.
