Chase the Killer!

"My condolences son, he is gone, the murderer that has been plaguing this city has taken him as his new victim." The colonel said as he sighed before patting Lyle's shoulder.

"We will catch the murderer, you can be sure of that, as for the body, will you allow us to do an autopsy, our medical examiners are quite good and might be able to find a clue that could lead us to the killer."

Lyle simply stared to the front, his eyes never leaving his father's body. The colonel glanced at him before shaking his head.

"You, stay here, he's in shock after the shock subsides, ask him if he will allow us to check the body again, even though we can easily take the bodies from most people, his father is one of the men that braved great danger to bring his caravan over here during this difficult time for the empire and deserves our respect."
