Chapter 14: Pine and Sawdust

When Chase woke up he felt warm and safe. The sun shone on his face and he blinked his eyes open, squinting at the brightness as he looked around. He didn't recognize the room which alarmed him. He must've fallen asleep in Morgan’s bed, there was no telling what his Master would do about it.

He went to sit up quickly, startled, but couldn't, there was a heavy weight slung over his chest. When he looked down to see what was keeping him still he found Morgan’s arm draped over his chest. Chase shuffled slightly, attempting to move Morgan’s arm without disturbing the sleeping man.

Morgan grumbled his disapproval and Chase looked over at him quickly. Chase froze as he watched Morgan shuffle about, the other man seemingly trying to get more comfortable. He was worried Morgan would wake up at any moment.
