"Your Majesty," Salma greeted, giving a short bow when she stepped into the meeting chamber where Veron and other members of the council were seated.
The hall was long, and the walls were decorated in beige and white colors. There was a long table in the center of the hall, and about thirty chairs surrounding it, with the biggest chair being the one at the head of the table, on which Veron sat.
The council members all shifted their attention to the pair that just stepped in, only glancing at Gideon before settling their gazes on Salma. A few of them had pieces of paper in front of them, resting on the table.
"The lady that decided the best revenge would be for me to suffer from a curse she sealed while waiting for the day I will be killed again. I knew you had some evil in you, I just didn't realize how much. Good to see you again, Nori." Veron's lips curved into a small smile at the end.
