Regan could only conclude this seeing how unwilling she had been to stay there even for a night.
Evelyn stiffened at the question. She was silent for some time. Just when Regan thought that she didn't wish to answer this question so he should let it slide, he heard her say
"Yes."
She didn't like that place. In fact, she despised it. It filled her heart with tremendous fear….the only thing she could feel at that place.
Regan didn't ask anymore.
Evelyn didn't know if it was her illusion but when the prince suddenly tightened his hold over her hand and then loosen it the next moment, she wondered if it was a squeeze to provide her some comfort.
But whatever it was, it did provide her comfort.
Slowly, she forgot whatever she was thinking about Zamorin.
