2.13 Him and No One Else

As Caspian and Yecheng ate, he felt much better. It's Hades, so of course he wants him to only love him. He understands Yecheng better, now that he knows the details of his childhood.

He's been through so much. Despite that, he built an empire. But in the original timeline, he was still unhappy until he died. He never met someone he built an emotional connection with.

His mental health kept declining until he died. Thinking about that makes Caspian ache. He turned Yecheng's face and he met his eyes.

"I don't like wasting food either."

He understands why it's so important to him now. Food was a rare commodity for him, so he abhors people who waste it.

Yecheng couldn't stop himself from smiling. It seems like Peach made the connection between his childhood, and his comment the day they met.
