Caspian woke up in a good mood. He took a shower and dressed. He pulled out the most exquisite robes he could find. Caspian wants to show everyone that he's in charge now.
Silas looked at Caspian through the mirror, as he styled his hair. When he was done, he praised:
"You look beautiful, Cass."
Caspian turned around with a smile.
"Thank you."
"I'm sure Salvatore will love it."
Caspian looked away.
"Who said I care about what he thinks."
Silas shook his head at the stubborn kid. He's never seen someone as willful as him.
He can tell that he feels in unfamiliar territory with Salvatore. His feelings were never deep in his past relationships. He would be with them for years, but still wouldn't move in together.
Caspian always needed to have his own space. Even before he was hunted. Caspian walked out of his room and went to the palace. When he arrived, he got out of the car and walked up the stairs.
