Choose one. Alien? or magic?

When Julius heard Robin's remarks, he tensed up. He took another glance around. This metropolis truly resembled something from a fantasy. Despite spending so much time with Mr. X, he had yet to see his visage. He had revered and adored Mr. X his entire existence, ever since he had his memory. He cherished how enigmatic, exact, and cautious he was.

That made him feel more assured. However, given that they had entered the uncharted territory of high tier civilization, he wasn't sure if it would remain true after observing the surroundings. As Julius was contemplating a confident answer to counter Robin, Sigret and Myrene had almost sneaked up from behind.

Julius again got to see those two beautiful women which he had seen before in the hospital. He was spellbound by their attractiveness at the time but he kept it to himself. He once more felt as though he was seeing some sort of angels now that he was seeing the two ladies again. The two women would display their natural features when no one was around in their normal state. Robin had always preferred to keep a modest profile, so they were unable to display themselves in public outside of DPRK, but they could do so here.

The two cold weapons that were dangling behind their backs were also visible to Julius. Before, he had not noticed it, but now it was plain to see. He almost stumbled seeing the huge cold weapons behind their backs. However, he quickly regained his composure, and that's when it struck him. T he cause of his visit to North Korea. The case of dead people in USA.

He was familiar with the images of the earliest recorded fatalities. The others were slain by large and potent cold weapons, while one was killed by a laser on his head. Some people were killed by a broad sword, while others were killed by a kind of curved weapon, according to forensics. And once more, he couldn't help but recall the cause for his arrival when he saw that enormous broadsword.

"So you are just a rat that went past my surveillance and here I was thinking that my primary functions are failing." Looking at Julius, Sigret said with a hint of relief.

"Primary functions?" Julius was perplexed and questioned what the lovely lady was referring to.

"She is one of the AI responsible in keeping an eye on everything." Robin dispelled his scepticism.

"She.. She.. She is an android?" Now, Julius was appalled. Since he was still trying to comprehend the idea of such a city existing on Earth when Robin first mentioned it, his thoughts kind of wandered over the topic. However, when it was brought up again, he was astounded.

"You catch up quickly." Sigret answered and grinned. She was relieved that everything worked as it should. She was a little disappointed when Julius was apprehended because she believed her artificial intelligence (AI) functions, which could monitor everything on the Internet or anything linked digitally, were hampered. However, it was just a man who had spent his entire existence in hiding. Despite the fact that it was something to be proud of, she despised such individuals for leading such a life of ineffectiveness.

Paranoia for what? These individuals will pass away in the end. Why bother struggle so much?

"In the hopes of avoiding unfavourable treatment, you have disclosed everything. Right?" Robin enquired. He had made it obvious up until this point that Julius was honest because he didn't want to be treated like a POW. To this, Julius gave his head an assent.

"But if you had come to this country, how did you plan to escape?" Curious, Robin questioned. Since only one in a few thousand people in North Korea were able to leave the country, it was well known that trying to do so was extremely risky and that death lurked around every turn.

"We have connections in China and once I can cross the border, it's very easy to escape." Julius said. That was accurate. The majority of boundary crossings take place over the northern frozen rivers, which serve as a physical barrier. The true issues, though, start in China. Nearly daily, the police aggressively look for runners.

In reality, the Chinese police are in close communication with North Korean authorities and constantly keep an eye out for runners. Only lately have there been no runners because of stringent border controls. Sigret had to pay some of the officials to keep their mouths shut and prevent them from passing this knowledge to higher-ups.

"Mr. X is really some kind of enigma to have such high connections even in China." Robin pondered.

"Even though I want to believe what you have said, I simply can't take any chances. I will therefore have to treat you with my own standards." Robin as he touched Julius shoulder and before Julius could even reply to what Robin had said, Robin had already apparated.

Yup, Robin just used one of the iconic ways of travel from the world of Harry Potter. Robin had been experimenting with various types of magic from the books and movies ever since he acquired a wand. And performing wizardry came to him almost naturally. He was most likely a Dragonborn, which was the likely reason.

Robin appeared again with Julius by his side, now very much disoriented. For a moment he felt he was squeezed through a tight pipe and suffocated. In addition to feeling squeezed, he was also propelled at extremely high speeds. He suddenly spat out water on the side after a brief period of time.

He looked at Robin in dread after gaining his bearings for a moment. In the space of a few seconds, they had relocated. Did this man also acquire abilities from the alien technology? Was the equipment truly extraterrestrial? He had been very dubious about the theory involving alien technology the entire time. He had been told his entire existence not to trust anyone, but the sensation of being in a different place was very real.

Was this man telling the truth the entire time? This was Julius's thought.

Then Robin pulled out his wand and gave it a brief flourish, an empty chair materialized. A chair in perfect shape. For the first time, Julius felt afraid right. Some sort of movement technology could account for the first shift in location. In reality, there were some anesthesia types in the human world that could help people forget their pain. Such types of anesthesia were frequently used by anesthesiologists to help patients forget about their discomfort. Although it was extremely uncommon, it was used when painkillers were ineffective.

Due to his inability to assess things clearly and his belief that the prior vomiting was merely a side effect, Julius believed he was given such medications. Though it was a far stretch in his imagination, at least there was a logical explanation, but a chair coming out thin air could never be explained in known science.

"Sit." Ordered by Robin. Already feeling cold, Julius sat down slowly and turned to look at Robin. Robin had been very considerate and had treated him with respect. But for the first time, he felt as though he was staring at an enormous beast that would devour him with a surge when he turned to face Robin.

"I have said all that I know. I really don't know much more about Mr. X; I'm not even sure of his race. He has flawless British and American English as well as perfect Mandarin. Really, I have no idea." Julius almost gave a pleading eyes as he looked at Robin. He experienced extreme dread somehow.

"I agree with you. But I must delve further." As he aimed his wand in Julius' direction, Robin said.

"Legilimens"

In just one spell, Robin gained access to Julius's consciousness. Robin quickly went over his recollections. even Julius was ignorant of certain memories. Robin recognised his birth recollection. When he was quite small, his parents perished in a house fire. Then Mr. X discovered him. Robin was curious about that memory and went to investigate, but it was precisely what Julius had previously stated. Even his own children weren't safe with this Mr. X man; rather, he didn't want his kids to be used as a scapegoat to track him down. Mr. X had really been crafty in his tactics, and Julius had no idea who he was personally.

After probing his recollections for ten minutes, he came back. Julius felt a splitting headache when the legilimens spell stopped. He was appalled. He had a strong hunch that Robin had just read his thoughts, but he was baffled as to how. He might have understood if he had ever seen a Harry Potter movie, but unfortunately, Mr. X hardly ever let them watch movies or play video games.

"What was that?" Julius said despite the pain.

"Oh! It seems like you have never watched a Harry potter movie. Good." Robin replied and then he proceeded to apparate away from the small prison that Robin had left Julius into.
