0100 hours. Five kilometres from the border with Mexico, in the middle of a desert, was a desolate agricultural with virtually no vegetation. One of the homes utilised as a storage for drugs was this one. The drugs would enter the home through a variety of channels, including underground tunnels with entrances on both sides of the border, bribed border patrol agents and even drugs taken over after breaching the fence and entering the country illegally.
There were numerous such homes, especially in California and New Mexico but sometimes in other states. The narcotics would be delivered throughout the USA from these warehouses via a variety of channels, including e-commerce and hand-to-hand trade. The ability to purchase medications online and have them delivered in a day or two was now available to wealthy clients. The idea that drug dealers now operate under the guise of technology was horrifying.
In reality, cartels have advanced over time as well. They now had their own communication towers that the police couldn't access, and they used drones to scout the manufacturing site for drugs so they could move quickly if the government ever came looking for them. The cartels were merely modernising themselves as the times significantly altered.
And the fact that these homes were occupied by guys who carried a stockpile of weapons explained why police tended to steer clear of them. Heavy weapons were the only means by which the police could destroy the homes near the borders, and the state would obviously not allow them to do so while acting in accordance with the law.
These houses were now secure because they were situated in sparsely populated areas, and the guys who lived there ensured that no one would ever report them. Today's dinner for Robin and his own monsters was served at this unique home.
TARDIS appeared just few yards out of the house in the open space and Robin came out in his Blue Beetle suit with Myrene and Sigret. Both of them had masks over their faces that also covered their hair. Platinum colored hair was still rare and in way Robin didn't want any fingers pointed at him in the future after what he was going to do today.
A group of men with assault guns emerged from the house as Robin made a few steps in that direction. Once Robin set foot on the farmland, the sensors activated, causing them to emerge. The guy leading was a Caucasian male, and even on the deck of the house's night light, it was clear that this individual had a drug addiction. His golden hair was unkempt, and his eyes appeared vacant. Even though he appeared young, his receding hairline signalled a midlife crisis.
He was accompanied by a small group of black and white males, all of whom were carrying assault rifles, some of which had scopes installed. Robin would have believed he was dealing with an army if they hadn't been dressed so poorly.
"Yo! Are you lost my friend?" the white man leading the men shouted at him. His voice devoid of emotions and it was apparent that he was high. He didn't point his gun at Robin but the other men had already done so. They were ready to shoot at any given moment.
Robin just smiled at him and was just walking towards them.
"Yo clown man!! You hear me? Or is that blue suit too clowny for you to talk? Hahaha... This isn't a circus bro!" Once more, the man yelled. Everyone nearby had their fingers on the trigger by this point. Still not responding, Robin continued to approach him till he was within a short distance of him. The women following didn't stop either. The man found it amusing at first, but as time went on, he began to feel off about these three strangers who had just appeared.
"Fuck.. The truck is going to come any minute now and I am entertaining these clowns? Blow them up." The man seemed irritated as if Robin was some kind of bug that had disturbed his sleep. He gave the signal to shoot at them.
And so all the men did!
They fired at Robin, Sigret, and Myrene in equal amounts. The man guiding them went by the street name Cody and was well-known among the local distributors. He had been in this line of work since he was 15 years old, and his activities included numerous shootings, theft, murder, and the distribution of illegal drugs. The one activity he avoided was the trading in people. He gained some respect from the distributors because individuals like them are also involved in transnational, illegal human trafficking.
Cody was confused of how these people had entered their premise. One clown man and two women appeared out of nowhere and disturbed his cocaine intake. He was ready to turn his head when he heard multiple metallic sound. The sound was as if someone was shooting at a metal plate and getting stopped.
Cody's eyes went wide when he saw that it was the sound of bullets bouncing off the body of the three people that had appeared. He proceeded to take his gun and shoot at the head of Robin. Kevlar was good enough to stop the bullets but it was always known that the vest could only stop the bullets and not the impact. Many a times, the ribs of the men were broken just because of the impact.
And if the identical impact were made to the brain, the victim would undoubtedly pass away. When he pressed the trigger, several bullets were fired at Robin's head. However, just like the previous time, the bullets simply bounced off after making a loud metallic noise.
Cody was in a panic! The others were as well. They were unsure of whether they were dreaming or experiencing reality as it was. After picking the lock, some of the men in the back desired to return to the house. The lock was burned when Robin fired a laser at it at that point, preventing the few guys from turning around.
"What? What? What the fuck are you?" Cody shouted as he still pointed the gun at Robin. He saw with is own eyes as Robin shot a laser at the door. Shooting lasers from fingers. What the fuck was going on?
Sigret and Myrene each pulled out a sword and a scythe, bringing Robin and Cody face to face. Sigret was especially animated. Finally mustering the guts to lunge at them, the men ran at them. They were baffled as to why Robin could fire lasers while the bullets failed to function. They charged with all their might knowing that if they wanted to get away, they would have to deal with these three people.
Maybe the use of physical force would win out. Yet alas! Dreams are rarely realised. Robin didn't have to take any action. Just then, Sigret and Myrene began attacking them with their frigid weapons. Blood was spilt all over the place where it happened. In order to avoid killing these individuals in seconds, Myrene and Sigret only hacked large gashes into their bodies.
In agony, the men yelled. When they attempted to use their rifles to defend themselves from the frigid weapons, their weapons were sliced in half. One could only imagine how powerful each swing was. Only Cody refrained from approaching Robin and the others. And by the looks of things, he was really appreciative to not be getting such a raw deal.
He was trembling in terror. He had just witnessed something that could only be classified as science fiction. There was no alternate path.
"You asked if I was a clown? Do we match up to that level of insanity as the famous clown did in the comics and movies?" Robin asked with a smile. Cody's mind couldn't even process the meaning of Robin's words as he just looked at the men in the floor spilling out blood all over the sand and few grass on the land. The air smelled thick of blood.
He was involved in multiple shooting but he had never witnessed such horror.
"Are you deaf? ... Hello... Moshi Moshi... Are you in there?" Robin asked again which prompted Cody's eyes to look at Robin.
"Who? Who the fuck are... Who the fuck are you?" Cody almost spat asking that.
"Someone who is going to bring humanity into a new race. Sad that you won't be alive to see it. Go in peace for this Earth will receive quite a shock tomorrow morning." Robin said as he shot a laser at the head of Cody. With that one of the finest drug distributors of USA died.
"You love drama. Why don't you start a TV series. I am sure people will love it." Sigret suggested. The men who had been crying in pain slowly passed away.
"This is already a huge drama. Have you directed the soldiers?" Robin asked.
"Yup. Every single person in these houses from all over the border will be hanged that will show up in broad daylight. None of the people involved in these houses are pure and only the most cruel people live in them. It will be quite a show in tomorrow's morning and afternoon news."
