Reunion After a Brief Parting

Mina pulled him to somewhere safe and let him rest on his butt for a moment. She stood beside him as the trail of lightning flashed around the ship, protecting the vessel for the time being.

This gave Achilles some time to recuperate as he glanced at Mina and then asked:

"By...the way...how did you...wake up?...I was certain that...it'd take at least...a few more weeks...for you...to regain consciousness."

The fox girl uttered:

"It's...a long story. I'll brief it to you after this is over."

Achilles shrugged.

"Alright."

He was about to add something in a questioning tone when a familiar loud female voice shook his eardrums.

{Hey! You two can't be resting right now! I'm dealing with a stupidly strong fish at the moment! Mind lending a hand!?}

Achilles' face flashed a hint of annoyance before he replied with a bit of gratitude in his voice:

"Hey, Luna. Thanks for...helping...back there."

Luna scoffed.
