Truce - (Makai's Point of View)

I've been restless and unable to sleep. I miss Storm so much, miss sleeping with him in my arms and his constant hugs and naughty smiles. I just miss my Sunshine, period, and being apart from him is killing me. I know he was talking to Callum, but one of them-- most likely Storm, had muted their conversation so I couldn't even hear the words with my wolf ears, just ineligible murmurs. When the murmurs stop for about fifteen minutes I wonder if he is sleeping out there with Callum. The thought fills me with pain, but I know I deserve it.

Unable to sleep, I throw off the covers in disgust. I just want to see him even if he won't speak to me. When Kitai whines softly, I sigh.

"Maybe he'll speak to you. Do you think he'll ever forgive me?"
