Mark then remembered that the floating orbs Has it's energy depends on it's size, the bigger it is the harder it is to reel in and the more energy it contains. and somehow he noticed something on his moonforce mana core.

Previously, the moonforce mana core had few white and gray dots but it was quite few in number, so it wasn't that noticeable and it doesn't seems to concerned him because he knows the higher it level up, it's appearance gradually changes.

Mark was satisfied at the result. He turn around and looked at the newly formed mana core, it was slightly different from the first mana core mark had. But the only difference was, it was emitting green light every 3 seconds and it was quite smaller than the moonforce mana core.

Mark touched the mana core and a pop up window appeared in his front as usual,

Mark shrugged his shoulder after reading it's description. It wasn't much special and not that he expected it to be special but a new mana core is all that matter and atleast he had a new affinity magic to use, he can use his stored energy that he regains every minutes or seconds because every type of magic spell needed a mana element of the corresponding type spell or it won't work.

In other word, if mark don't have a life energy mana core or his incapable of storing life type mana, then he wouldn't be able to used magic with life element. Possibly in other planes though even if mark don't have life energy core, he could borrow life energy from the world tree but only on the territory of the world tree occupied. And there are three existing world tree in this plane. They were on war to each other but it doesn't mean they are near to each other. The plane was vast and had a whole lot of resources so housing 3 world tree wasn't strange.

But sometimes a spell worked even if the mana energy was not the accurate one if the energy was compatible with the spell formation, just like a high tier spell called 'tornado', it uses a large amount of wind energy to manifest, but water energy can also be used and could altered the high tier spell making it a new spell, 'water tornado'. And that technique or method of combining magic was called 'spell modification'. Almost anyone with magic power and had a lot of knowledge in runes could use it as long as they knew the original structure of the spell arrays, and modifying it is like copy and paste formula.

Mark smiled at the result of his hard work but he knew it was just the beginning of a bigger world waiting for him. Mark wanted to reel more but he couldn't as he was very tired. It consume much of his mental energy by doing so. So he cut off his connection to his consciousness, as soon as he regain his wake, he had fallen into a deep sleep.

The beautiful imperial city was a prosperous city but large, tall or old trees was never gone, the place was crowded, it was just like a normal town in a medieval age even if there's is sign of deep advancement.

Full of people, the streets are crowded and the place was brimming with life and many elves and other type of intelligent creatures bustle in the city streets. There were even a lot of carriage with arkal horses moving from road to road, the treehouses in the city was much more beautiful and uniquely structured unlike the village he came from, and was also quite populous unlike elriden village.

The carriage arrived within a week, starting when they was still in viscount cramor's viscounty and pass through 2 more noble territory before entering the royal territory and arriving to the city.

During there journey to the capital, mark already leveled up his moonforce mana core to level 3 and the life energy mana core was level 2.

They have arrived at the city. They passed through huge gate between the tall wall made of vines and woods, which seems to be durable and has resistance to most flame. They have reached the place just nearby the blueleaf academy where the entrance exam will happen.

Of course nobles mostly get recommendation letter and not needed any more test in other school. blueleaf was different from other school it does need anyone to enter entrance exam regardless of social standing and the students who got accepted was the one who was paying there own tuition. Even talented individual who got recommended needed to take the exam before confirming their talent.

Courses that needed a fee only applicable to intermediate grade. Beginner class has 4 years to graduate. Intermediate class needed another 5 years to graduate in advance class and lastly advance class takes last 5 years to finish education and graduate. But military academy only needed 5 years before graduating and join the either noble army or the emperial army, serve the royal family or serve a noble house. But blueleaf academy was a prominent and prestigious school and was one of the top ten academy in the city.

Blueleaf also had many elites that graduated and some successful bloodline awaken per year. Blue-leaf academy also gave birth to many famous genuises and legends.

The academy also have a long standing history. It seems weird that such a place had a systematic and standard schools but mark doesn't care about it.

But unluckily for Katrina, blueleaf academy only accepts the royal and few noble family with a bloodline of an high-elf and the people in the empire, whom had a forest elves bloodline. The only exception are those who were recommended by certain instructor can attend the exam and enter the school.

As soon as they arrived inside the city there was a tree like structures, different in shape and sizes that made it look like a well-built building and many peoples seems bustling in the streets here, there were also students with a cool uniform with a bright red color patterns since the redleaf academy was a neighboring school. Mark hop down the carriage the others too followed. Then the guards bowed at mark saying,

"young master, we have arrived"

"alright, tell father my regards and goodbye"

"young master, what will you do about the carriage? won't you really need some servants that will assess you?"

"I already have what I need but thanks anyway"

"as you commands young master, but... Don't you need a coachman to drive the wooden carriage? "

"no need, i knew how to drive it" mark bluffingly said.

"Well then young master, we shall take our leave."

Mark specifically asked his father and used a wooden carriage with a wooden wagon with a white roof atop it, since he doesn't like grandiose carriage and he prepared a usable one than the one which only used for people's transportation.

Mark was thinking about buying a treehouse to lived in and hopes that his money was enough to buy a small one.

Mark told hellias,

"young master we will take our leave, please take care of yourself"

"ok i get it, I'll take care of myself"

The escort group leaves the city and goes back on their way to elriden village. As soon as they're out of sight. Mark hop back at the carriage and now as a coachman. he'll learned how to drive it and for now it'll be quit difficult but it didn't make him lose his spirits and continued on. The three girl then spoke to Mark.

"march, we will be going and explore the city, don't you want to come? "

"I'm sorry edelina, i can't come since i have to find a nearby inn to stay and put the arkal on the stables. You three can explore the city however you want but don't go to far since the city is like a labrynth. You might get lost"

"ohh ok, but march were just about the same age but why do you speak like an old man? " rebuke katrina.

"err.. don't be so harsh on me katrina, im not an old man I'm just doing what i could do" replied mark nervously. 'I might be older but I'm certainly not that old, despite it's only my mental age. I'm only mentally 15!'

Then edelina told katrina,

"yeah, katrina. March is always been like that since the first time we meet, he always love reading poems and quotes. But he was somehow a responsible person and act like a wise old man. So don't be to harsh on him"

Mark face redden with embarrassment. He wonder how do marcheon act in his past.

Then sherry interrupted the two while grabbing there hands.

"come on you too. Don't bother march. Didn't he said he have something to do?"

'ahh I almost forgot, good thing they haven't left yet.'

Mark immediately respond and jump out of the carriage.

"wait! Sherry stay still i got something to do real quick!" he seriously said. The three was quite baffled about what he meant, not knowing what he will do next.

Mark didn't give them any time to react and suddenly tap there shoulder while chanting a word. The three couldn't react at the moment. After touching everyone's shoulder, the three finally have come to there senses, katrina complain.

"march, w-what are doing all of the sudden"

Mark explained.

"nothing, I was just tapping you to say good bye. So don't get lost and come back this night."

"of course, then can we go now or you still wanted to come, March?" replied edelina.

"no thanks gave fun strolling the city.. " before mark finished words sherry started dragging them away.

"OK, since March has things to do, let's not bother him further"

"goodbye, March see you later"

"don't worry, I'll protect her"

And they started leaving to the city, until they vanish to the crowd in the city street.

Mark muttered with a sigh.

"i hope they won't get into trouble.... Ohh well, they're strong so i wasn't worried about them, I'm more worried if they make trouble themself.... Then, let's better get going and search for an nearby inn then."

While driving the carriage with difficult maneuvering, he made a few mistakes until he gets better at it, it also thanks to the coachman last time he learned a bit about it and it help him in his current predicament.
