Chapter 30: Auroran Demigod vs the First Dragonborn

mega big chapter special!!!

(A/n this took longer for me to translate cause I had to research Alyleidoon language. One note, when saying a name like Umaril, it is supposed to have an "e" at the end like this. Umarile, Pelinale, Sivrethe, Elikae, Miraake. I have no idea why this is but I chose not to do it cause I am not certain. Thought I would let you know.)

Elika pov:

"Elika, remember the words. Say them when he speaks to you." Siv whispered to me as a kneeled beside him.

A light brighter than any other, even that of the sun, almost blinded me as I was on guard.

'He? Who is he?'

As if the Gods heard my thoughts, the light before us dimmed down to reveal a large figure standing in golden armour of strange design and make.

The figure was confused and dazed by the surroundings, as it tried to get its bearings and understand what was happening.

Siv, giving the being Jo time to understand what has happened to it, spoke quickly and loudly catching the attention of the figure.

"Angua Adonai! Tye Ae Nenagai!" Siv said, intently watching the figure with caution of what he might do.

"Man Ae Ehlnadaya? Mab Ae Av La?" The figure asked after a moment ro process what had been said.

"Angue Adonai Laloriaran. Angua Adonai, Tye Ae Nenagai. An Ayleid Arane Na Negaia. Ni Na An Naril Ayleid, La Tye Angua Negaia." Siv responded, but there was one word I understood, or rather a name!

Laloriaran. It was a name of an Ancient Ayleid Sorcerer King when I was being taught the History of them empire.

Laloriaran was one of the Ayleid Kings that was killed by Pelinal Whitestrake, an infamous Elf slayer and Paladin.

(A/n this is false, Laloriaran survived and even helped Queen Alyssia to overthrow the Ayleid Empire. He is considered one of the good Ayleids, he even survived and is an NPC in ESO. However, I made it where the Empire, more specifically the Alyssians (an organisation formed after Queen Alyssia's death, to kill all Ayleid Elves and thus they even started to kill their once Ayleid allies but the last Ayleids went into hiding. Some even went to seek refuge at Summerset Isle.))

Why did Siv say Laloriaran's name, wait! Is that guy an Ayleid?! And the fist thing he must have asked Siv was his identity.

But wouldn't he know, Siv is only a child compared to an ancient adult Ayleid King of Old in terms of appearance.

I looked over to Siv and I stared at him intently.

Mana, I could see it faintly around his body, he must be using an Illusion, but what about me?

"Angua Alasil..." My thought were broken as the Ayleid in gold armour spoke again. He seemed dizzy as he grasped his head.

"Angua Adonai! Ni Calna Pelinal Whitesdrake Naril Nagaia!" Oh Gods! That's not good to mention Pelinal's name!

"Pelinal!!!" Roared the Ayleid.

"Ni Negaia Vey An Ehlnada Ye Pelinal!"

Just as Siv said that, our pursuer, the masked man arrived, we all turned to face him. The staredown lasted but a moment between the four of us.

Siv said something while pointing at the masked person, he also said Pelinal but I didn't know the language but could assume he lied that the masked man is Pelinal. Smart, so that's why he said it was a last resort to use.

"Ni Sino, Ata Adonai Laloriaran Sino." The Ayleid said as he faced me.

Oh shit, I need to say it!

"Latta'a Angua Adonai!" I said confidentiality, without fear and full of courage, to the Ayleid King.

As soon as those words left my mouth, the Ayleid turned to face the masked man, before procaliming aloud, sword drawn.

"Pelinal Whitestrake! Abagaianye Ni! Ehlnadaya Liebel Nagaia! Ye Tye Liebel Auran Sou Naril Nagaia!"

With those final word, the Ayleid King rushed forward towards the masked man as the two began to clash.

"Elika."

I turned to face Siv as he whispered to me, while tugging on my sleeve.

"This is our chance, we need to leave. Help me stand."

Grabbing him and putting his arm around my shoulder, to get him to his feet, he groaned and gasped sharply as his other hand clutched his chest.

"Siv!"

"It's nothing, it'll go away. Using an Elder Scroll requires compensation in some form. I sacrificed a hundred years of my lifespan to use its power in order to resurrect another life...My body is weak, you have to carry me to the Black Book."

"Adonai Meridia! Emperor Angu Av Sou Latta!"

I could hear the Ayleid shout once more in his language but the voice became distant as I carried Siv to the Black Book, thankfully he weighed less than one his size should be, it made our escape all the more easier.

**************

As Sivreth and Elika make their escape, Umaril had opened the battle between himself and Miraak, having been successful deceived by Sivreth, with a blast of lighting from his off hand.

Miraak knew who this individual was as he had access to all the knowledge in the world to browse from for the last four thousand years.

Effectively making Miraak the second most Omniscient being within the Aurbis second only to his master Hermaous Mora, not including Anu and Padomay, Sithis and Aka and the Celestials.

Miraak erected a ward, not just any ward spell, but one of his own design.

The lightning was dispersed and Miraak released a counter attack in the form of a horizontal swing of his sword, releasing a tendril that elongated and covered the distance.

The tendril struck Umaril's chest as he had not expected the odd attack of "Pelinal Whitestrake" whom he thought He was fighting.

But beings as powerful as they could bare to trade and receive blows like this as such damage was trial in the long run of the battle.

Umaril, realising that the reincarnation of "Pelinal" was capable of using far more magic than before, rushed forward to close the distance.

Miraak conjured forth his staff, having recently learned the storage ability that Sivreth used for his rings, knowledge gathered by Mora's oen eyes, he was able to create a pocket space to store such items for quick snd easy access.

Using his Staff in his left hand, a wall of tendrils blocked Umaril's advance towards him allowing for him to prepare himself.

"MUL QAH DIIV!" (Strength, Armor, Wyrm)

(A/N [Dragon Aspect] Shout, created by Miraak as a testament of his previous faith as a Loyal Dragon Priest servant, is used by Manipulating the Dragon Soul within oneself (Miraak or Dovahkiin) to create an armor that is the manifestation of their own power and Dragon Soul, [Dragon Aspect] makes Miraak and Dovahkiin's power levels sky rocket far beyond that of the Tribunal Gods, Nerevarine and to the realm of Daedric Prince's and the Aedric Gods.)

Miraak's body was enveloped in an ethereal energy that took the form of draconic horns and armour.

Umaril had broken through the wall of tendrils and swung his sword in a vertical arc, intending to cleave Miraak in two.

Miraak rolled away as he had no time to use a Shout.

As Umaril's blade struck the ground, blasts of lighting sprouted from the point of impact in all directions eratically.

Miraak was struck with it but the enchantments of his robes absorbed the magical energy and negated its damage.

"YOL TOOR SHUL!" (Fire, Inferno, Sun)

A vortex of flames hit Umaril, who was yet again shocked by the unexpected power of "Pelinal".

(A/n Thu'um and Dragon wars happened approximately same time of Ayleid Rebellion. Miraak is first Dragonborn, Queen Alyssia is second Dragonborn and first of the Septim bloodbline.)

Umaril released a daedric-like roar as he plunged his sword into the ground.

The air around him began to radiate multiple orbs of white light that crackled with electricity.

Meanwhile the ground became a literal mine field as explosions of electricity occurred spontaneously.

The white orbs manifested into the shapes of transparent swords of light that shot forward at their target.

"WULD NAH KEST!" (Whirlwind, Fury, Tempest)

As Miraak's figure blurred from the speed he traveled at to evade the numerous phantom sword projectiles, Umaril had begun his descent from the air towards him.

"FEIM" (Fade)

Umaril's blade passed through Miraak's spectral body leaving no sign of injury.

"FUS RO DAH!" (Force, Balence, Push)

Umaril's body was sent hurtling through the air, he twirled through the air and was able to land on his feet perfectly.

Turning around he raised his weapon in pure warrior's instinct to block.

*clang*

He had blocked Miraak's Sword with his own, Miraak traced his blade down Umaril's own intending to cut the hand and cripple his opponent, only for it to be redirected towards the ground.

Miraak grabbed the forearm of Umaril's sword hand, preventing him from using his sword to pierce him through.

Using this chance he swung his sword upwards to cut Umaril's throat, unexpectedly he ended up stumbling back.

The side of his head was in pain only for him to realise his mask had fallen to the ground, revealing his half burnt and scarred face with short cut dirty blond hair.

Umaril had decided to punch Miraak the moment his arm had been grabbed.

Umaril did not press his luck to attack Miraak even after he had landed the first decisive strike of the battle so far.

Between two warriors of such caliber and power, doing something like pressing the attack was foolish when the battle had only just begun and could be easily counter attacked.

Miraak was confused by Umaril that stood before him as he regained his clarity.

In what he had read, Umaril was never this strong. It should have been a one sided battle for him but contrary to his expectations, Umaril was actually able to land a decisive hit on him.

This thought allowed Miraak to realise two things.

One, when Umaril was resurrected/summoned, something had happened to empower him to be his equal in battle.

Two, where was the Elf Sivreth and his female companion?

"FO KRAH DIIN" (Frost, Cold, Freeze)

"IIZ SLEN NUS" (Ice, Flesh, Statue)

"IIZ SLEN NUS" (Ice, Flesh, Statue)

Umaril had been able to dodge the first two Shouts of Miraak, but was unable to evade the third and final one as his body was frozen and encased in ice.

Umaril's raw strength was already causing the ice to crack.

Miraak did not care about Umaril as he would be dealt with later.

Turning around to where he originally saw the Elf and the girl, he could see a some traces of blood.

Using the small opening he had gained by freezing Umaril for a few brief moments, he fled the battle to pursue his original target before the children duo could escape Apocrypha and from his grasp.

At that same time, Umaril had broken free and saw Miraak fleeing from him.

"PELINAL-E!!!"

***********

Sivreth pov

*cough*

As Elika carried me I coughed up blood yet again.

The price of using the Elder Scroll was too great.

Not only did I have to literally read the Kel with my own eyes but I also had to use it by given adequate compensation of equal exchange to use its power.

I my mind and my vision was in a haze.

I finally understand why Moth Priests go blind when the read a Kel.

They are literally using the Kel in order to view infinite Timelines simultaneously while finding their intended timeline, ie that being the current timeline's destined future.

For example, there can be millions of timelines, each with a different outcome to the Dragon War Prophecy and how Alduin would return. But only one will be the future that will come true for our current timeline. All the others would just be an infinite branching Dragon Break and it's outcomes.

Eventually the Jils, Female Dragons created by Akatsoh to repair Dragon Breaks and paradoxes in Time, will restore all the infinite branching timelines into a singular one, our timeline which has come true.

The timeline I live in is the real one as i am living in it bow, while the one I had seen in the game is simply a Dragon Break branching timeline. There is a chance that what happens in the game will never happen for me. Heck its even possible Delphine won't have kids with Balgruuf in this variation of the Timeline.

(A/n hehe, ya didn't know that did ya? Delphine is Balgruuf's unknown wife that mothered the two kids, not Nelkir. Lot of lore to explain it during her time in the Legion and coming to Whiterun.)

My mind was still trying to process everything I had seen in the Kel.

I had seen infinite timelines, Infinite alternatives to every outcome possible, infinite variations, infinite interpretations of a singular Prophecy.

And I saw them all at once, with just one glance my eyes had experienced pain like no other but it subsided rather quickly but the shock and feeling of...infinity was all that lingered in my mind.

All just so that I can find one timeline where Umaril didn't die in and so that I can both resurrect him and make him virtually unkillable by tethering his metaphysical definition of existence to the timeline He didn't die in.

Not only that but I made it clear when using the Kel to summon Umaril to fight his enimies as his "equal".

Miraak should be in for a big suprise by the fact that Umaril can fight on "equal" levels of power with him.

Not only that but it will take a while for Miraak to figure out a way to actually kill Umaril since nothing Miraak can do will put him down for good.

Only by creating a new Shout with the appropriate Words of Power can Miraak kill Umaril now, not even ZII LOS DII DU [Devour Soul] can kill him.

"There it is!" Elika's voice brought me back from my inner musings as we saw the Black Book within sight.

Reaching the Black Book she placed me down on my feet so I could stand.

As if sensing our presence the Black Book opened to reveal its contents.

First it showed its name.

[Lazarus Rune-Song]

******

"...As the Gods walked, the physical make-up of the Mortal plane and even the timeless continuity of existence itself became unstable..."

******

???

I've read this somewhere before...

Knowing that we didn't have much time I flipped the pages, but as I did so the book took control and opened up on its own revealing three large runic circles with strange writings.

The circles glowed green as an orb of green light emerged and hovered above the book with a green light anchor tethering the orb to the circle it originated from.

I didn't know what they meant but I knew it must be powerful.

Reading what little I was able to from the paragraphs under each circle I was utterly stunned, no words could describe my joy, and my fear that Miraak actually has this kind of power only cementing my fears of the true extent of his magical prowess.

[Runes of Creatia]

This is effectively a roundabout way of saying Shadow Magic. Shadow Magic is essentially Alteration if one thinks about it. Shadow Mwgic can manipulate the forces creating it, it was even used to contain a Dragon Break. It is the physical embodiment of forces in conflict, and can rival the power of the Elder Scrolls or even transcend it.

[Nirn's Lazarus]

The Pure Manipulation of Magic is known as Dawn Magic. Dawn Magic is just a lesser version of Unadulterated Creatia which is basically the magic of the Gods that was used to create Nirn. However, when the Gods made Nirn they had made Magic limtless, making Dawn Magic limitless. Ahzidal had even learned some aspects of Dawn Magic during his time with the Ayleids. Dawn Magic existed before the Dawn Era making it can reshap Reality on a greater scale than Tonal Manipulation though not as easily.

[Songs of the Spirits]

The pragraphs reveal that this orb is Tonal Manipulation, not limited to one or two types of methods in order to weild it like the Dwemer and Nords do, but in its purest form. As long as the correct sound is used, one can manipulate Reality completely to their whims. Dovahzul is how Dragons use Tonal Manipulation by speaking in their language since Dovahzul perfectly replicates the sound of the Word of Power they are using, limited only to their comprehension of the Word of Power and their imagination.

I read them aloud so Elika could understand as well.

I didn't waste any time and chose [Nirn's Lazarus] to aquire Dawn Magic. Reaching out my hand to the Central orb an unmerous whsips of green energy flowed into my body.

I immediately understood the basics to begin to learn Dawn Magic, but since this type of magic is so vast and limitless, I needed to diligently learn to use it much like how a Nord would need to train to use the Thu'um after months to potentially years. It seems I was not exempt from that much to my displeasure.

I hoped to instantly gain mastery of it. This did not deter me since this will help me yo progress in learning Mysticism. Once I've learned to weild Mysticism ill be able to use Dawn Magic like Ahzidal did. It's slow but worth it.

"Elika, you choose. Quickly!" I yelled to her, seeing that she was motionless in thought.

She jumped at the sudden shouting and quickly chose [Songs of the Spirits] to obtain Tonal Manipulation.

I wasn't suprised since she said she had wanted to learn the Thu'um which she had previously seen me use many times in the creation of my experiments.

Wrapping my arm around Elika's waist she became as limp as a fish and was making some weird stuttering sounds.

Looking at her face, she was blushing heavily while trying to hide her face.

Ignoring her and looking to the Black Book I reached down and extended my handto touch it.

*splurt*

A slight pain like a pinch came from my forearm.

"FUS RO!" (Force, Balence)

A moment later borh me and Elika was sent flying as a crushing pain assaulted our bodies and my ears bled as all sounds became number.

Writhing of the ground in pain I looked to my arm that grew in pain only to see it missing!

Screaming in pain I looked to the Black Book only to see my severed arm lying of the ground.

"Did you think you'd escape?!"

A sudden pain hit me in my back causing me to roll over and face our attacker, Miraak.

Miraak placed his foot on my stomach, the weight he was exerting was crushing my body but I knew he was holding back to torment me.

"I don't need you alive...for now that is."

He held a Black Soul Gem in his hand, my eyes widened as I realised what he intended to do to me. I tried to struggle but he only extorted more force on me.

"PELINAL-E!!!"

Miraak released his foot that pressed down on my body and faced Umaril that had just arrived.

The two clashed blades releasing a shockwave throughout the surroundings.

"FU-" Miraak tried to use a Shout but Umaril had adapted and twirled the blade causing Miraak's Sword to flow downwards and the pommel of Umaril's sword to hit Miraak on his masked face.

Miraak tanked the hit and did a 360° spin on the spot and released a lighting spell that blasted Umaril a few meters away before he could do a follow up attack with his sword.

Miraak rushed towards Umaril to take advantage of the battle and go on the offensive.

As the two clashed in a battle of both sword and magic, exchanging counter attacks after counter attacks only to miss or lightly graze the opponent, I felt a hand weakly touch my body.

Seeing Elika in pain trying to help me to my feet, I bore through my own injuries and was able to stand.

I summoned a small flame in my hand and used it to cauterize my arm, making it into a stump.

I'll figure our a way to heal it later, hopefully.

"Are you okay?" Elika asked me, though I can tell she could barely speak.

Miraak had held back from using the full might of [Unrelenting Force] that could have destroyed the molecular structure of our bodies, turning us to dust in an instant.

"It doesn't matter, we must escape while their fighting."

She nodded and the two of us headed towards the Black Book, slowly but surely as we limped closer to it.

As we were half way there, a wall of fire had suddenly barred our path.

We looked to see Miraak with his hand outstretched but he swiftly retracted it to cast a spell on Umaril that almost struck a blow in him.

"What do we do now? He's keeping us in his sight and will stop us again if we try freezing the fire."

"We can't even if we wanted to. My ice won't will turn to mist if I try using it on his flame wall." I said to Elika only adding to her despair.

I looked at the ground for a moment in thought before I spoke again.

"There's only one option left. Elika, how did you cure me from becoming a Daedra? Only Hermaeous Mora himself could have done it."

She hesitated for a moment but the urgency in the situation demanded her to answer truthfully.

"I-I made a deal with him to cure you."

"What did you promise him in return?"

"To get him the secrats of the Skaal in 10 years time. I made sure that there wasn't any loopholes."

"There are always loopholes to exploit. You'll tell me more later." I sighed, knowing that the easiest way to make a barging with Mora was off the table.

I tried to remeber what I can bribe Mora with and that's when it dawned on me!

When I was a partial-Daedra I had found a Glyphic, an artifact Mora made which has some of his stored memories.

When I used the Glyphic, I viewed the memory which showed a meeting of Mora, Vaermina and Peryite just like in ESO: Necrom DLC.

Mora tried to convince Vaermina and Peryite to agree with, like how some other of the Daedric Princes did while some didn't, to erase the memory of Ithelia the Daedric Prince of Fate and Destiny from Reality.

In the end Peryite and Vaermina did not agree and Mora did it anyway. He erased Ithelia from the memory of Reality and every being even the Gods, and himself but not before Stirring some of his memories inside of his Glyphics.

I was suprsied since I myself was effected by it and couldn't remember Ithelia only until after I saw the Glyphic.

Now I have my bargaining chip.

"Hermaeous Mora, I've come to bargin! Return us back to Nirn and I'll tell you of Ithelia's true power and influence on all of Reality!"

Answering my words, a mass of tentacles emerged from a puddle of black tar that appeared beneath us and engulfed our bodies.

"NO!" Miraak roared as he saw us escaping Apocrypha, he threw his sword at me!

But before it can reach darkness engulfed me.

Moments later I felt fresh air enter my lungs as I almost became blinded from bright light of the sunrise.

Taking in my surroundings I discovered we were on the outskirts the Imperial City in the same woods I had originally transmigrated into this world a few years ago.

Looking behind me I saw the familiar tree I had awakened on on my first day in this word.

Further behind said tree I saw what can only be described as a entrance to some kind of ruin.

Remembering the document I had read, during my time in Apocrypha as a Half-Daedra, this must be the Ruins that my mother Faireth had died at to save my life from our pursuers.

Elika tried speaking to me but I ignored her and she then saw what i was doing, unbeknownst to me she too had discovered the truth of what happened here and about Rella killing Faireth.

She observed me as I plucked a white flower and approached the ruins.

I channeled my magicka and the flower turned to into crystalline ice in my hands.

I placed it on the destroyed entrance of the ruins.

Turning around to leave I noticed that Elika wasnt next to me, I turned around to find her placing a similar flower beside mine, though less transparent.

I had a small smile at her act.

She stood up and approached me as we returned to the Imperial City.

...

End of Prologue

****************

That's it dear readers next few chaps will be a time skip and leaving Cyrodiil for good until after cannon skyrim happens.

His next destination will of course be skyrim at long last, but will make a pit stop somewhere else.

I've got a lot planned for when Skyrim game events begins since I just played the Clockwork City Expansion of Elder Scrolls Legends and shocked to find out that it happens just a short time after the Dragons are resurrected and funking Alfe Fyr is in Skyrim at the time?!

Like WTF?!

I knew it happens in 4e 201 but this is too shocking, also Laaneth is at the Collage of Winterhold?!

Sails-Through-Storms?!

Soo many cool characters to get involved in the plot, I can't wait to write it.

Prologue is done and "Volume 1: Return of the Falmer" has begun!

*****************

This is the translation of the conversation between Sivreth, Elika and Umaril in Alyleidoon (Ayleid language)

S - Sivreth

U - Umaril

E - Elika

*The following translation is the direct words being translated, however after analysing Dovahzul and Ayleidoon languages, they auto translate into a proper coherent sentence. Much like how Krosis in Dovahzul means "Sorry/Apologies/Forgiveness/Error" and such. Then additional words such as "my" are auto added on its own cause the ones speaking know this. I hope that made sense.*

S: "Angua Adonai! Tye Ae Nenagai!"

(My Lord! You Is Undying)

*Undying - Immortal/Resurrected*

*is - mostly means "are" if paired with "you"*

U: "Man Ae Ehlnadaya? Mab Ae Av La?"

(Who Is You? What Is Upon Time?)

*Who are you? What is going on* *Upon Time - referring to present time since it is upon them at this very moment*

S: "Angue Adonai Laloriaran. Angua Adonai, Tye Ae Nenagai. An Ayleid Arane Na Negaia. Ni Na An Naril Ayleid, La Tye Angua Negaia."

(Mine Lord Laloriaran. My lord, you is undying. The Ayleid Kings is death. You is the final Ayleid, Time is my death.)

*my name is Laloriaran, my lord you've been resurrected. The Ayleid Kings are dead. You are the last of us, it is only a matter of time until I die.*

*death - dead, dying, die*

U: "Angua Alasil..."

(My Vision...)

*my mind/thoughts*

S: "Angua Adonai! Ni Calna Pelinal Whitesdrake Naril Nagaia!"

(My Lord! You give Pelinal Whitestrake Final Death!)

U: "Pelinal Whitestrake!"

S: "Ni Negaia Vey An Ehlnada Ye Pelinal!"

(You death to the Mortal God's and Pelinal)

*you must bring death to the Mortal God's and Pelinal*

*Siv points at Miraak while lying that Miraak is the reincarnation of Pelinal Whitestrake.*

U: "Ni Sino, Ata Adonai Laloriaran Sino."

(You there, father Lord Laloriaran there.)

E: "Latta'a Angua Adonai!"

(Light-of my Lord!)

*light refers to Umaril being Champion of Meridia, also means in another sense of someone giving knowledge or orders which is akin to shinning light on a person who is lost in the dark on what to do*

U: "Pelinal Whitestrake! Abagaianye Ni! Ehlnadaya Liebel Nagaia! Ye Tye Liebel Auran Sou Naril Nagaia!"

(Pelinal Whitestrake! I do not fear you! Your Mortal Gods will death! And you will welcome your final death!)

*says Final Death because of Siv previous lie that Pelinal reincarnated as Miraak."

U: "Adonai Meridia! Emperor Angu Av Sou Latta!"

(Lordly (Lady) Meridia! Guide me in your light!)

*Ayleids worship power above all else, and even worship Aedra and Daedra as a result. Umaril and Laloriaran both worship Meridia. Umaril is Half Auroran, an Auroran is the name of the Daedra that Meridia commands. Much like Sheogorath's Dark Seducer and Golden Saints*
