'Seven more months' Justin counted mentally. The days were running faster than he expected, and his death was drawing in close with every passing day. He still had his hopes on James, but judging the rate of James's progress, he was losing hope.
Things were a lot better now though. He didn't feel as fatigued as he used to at first when Simon emerged. He had subconsciously learnt how to manage and distribute his energy evenly, and it had saved him from losing his job and explaining a lot of things to Wilson and Charles.
"I'm surprised you even managed to adapt so soon. Nothing less should be expected of one who is a pure Brown" Simon acknowledged, but Justin wasn't listening. He was too focused on learning how to use the chains in his hands than listening to his grandfather. He had been on training for the past month now, and it was much more intense than it used to be.
