"What did we do?" He was the one who had killed her. Not her.

She had initiated it, but she hadn't killed the girl.

"I can't believe…." She started to cry. "I killed…."

Caroline was devastated. She didn't know if it was hormones or the heightened emotions.

"Caroline," He grabbed her hands, "It's not your fault! I killed her!"

"Did you?"

"I did."

"But, I started it!" She sobbed, "I started it!! I am a monster!"

"You are not a monster!" Klaus told her, "You are the love of my life! My eternity!"

"I am a monster..!" She sobbed.

"Come here!" He hugged her. Sitting down with her.

She sobbed. She couldn't believe what she had done

Caroline and Klaus sat next to each other, Klaus tried to comfort her. After a while she felt a little better.

"I am worried…." She said.

"I'll burn the body." Klaus told her. His voice trembled. "Everything will be fine."

"Not about that." She whispered. "What will happen….what will happen when Mikael and Esther find out about you?"

"I don't….know." He hadn't thought about that.

"She will force you. And….Mikael." She couldn't say it. "He has hated you for as long as I have seen."

He nodded. She was right.

"When is the next full moon?" She asked.

"Six days!" He told her, "Why?"

"You can't tell them! Not now anyways!" She was scared.

For his life.

"You should run." She told him, frantic. "You should run! And hide, till the full moon is over!"

"Why?" He was angry. "I can't run from my reality! Why should I be ashamed!"

"I am not saying that." She took his hand softly. "It is dangerous to let them know right now! You know how Mikael is. He will literally kill you."

"Right." He accepted it. SHe was right. She was thinking right. And, he wasn't.

"Run, Nik." She said, "You have to run."

"And what?"

"You'll have a month to think about it." She replied,. "We will."

Klaus nodded. She was right.

Klaus Mikaelson left for the caves a day before he had to turn. He asked Elijah and Henrick to protect Caroline. He asked Rebekah to care for her.

They had to stick together, as all of them were experiencing the emotional upheavals. Caroline and the others were sitting around a fire outside Caroline's house.

"Where did Niklaus go?" Elijah asked.

"I don't know." It was the truth. She had no idea where Klaus Mikaelson went.

"When will he come back?" Henrick asked.

He was very much surprised at what Klaus had done a few hours ago, and just disappeared.

"Two days." She told him.

She was stiff. She was still rattled at what had happened. Henrick came next to her, and sat down.

"I am sorry, Caroline."

He really was.

"I am so sorry."

But, he didn't know what he was apologizing for.

"It's okay, Henrick." She replied.

She felt her mind and body numb.

"It's not like it's your fault!"

"It is…" He said, everyone looked at him. "If that wolf didn't attack me, and you didn't try to save me….Nik wouldn't have done anything. Father wouldn't have convinced her to….."

He started to cry.

"No, Henrick, no…" She took his hand, "It's fine, Henrick. It doesn't matter."

"No…I did this!. You must hate me."

"What?" She wiped his tears, "Why would I hate you? I love you, Henrick. Like a brother."

"You do?"

"I do." Caroline smiled. "Of course, I do. Maybe, more than ever. I have no family. You are my family."
