Escaped 

"Clop clop clop."

The sound of a horse-drawn carriage moving could be heard from the distance.

It was a fairly slow carriage with an old man and a pretty young lady with pink ribbons tying her hair together.

This was the old man and Arian coming back from supplying their goods.

"hm? "What are they doing outside?" Arian commented as soon as they got into the compound.

Right in front of the mansion were two huge snake monsters.

Upon closer inspection, Arian's expression couldn't help but morph into an ugly one.

She leaped forward from the carriage that had just come to a halt in front of the snake monsters.

"Who did this to you?" Arian asked in a worried tone.

One of the snake monsters was bleeding from the left eye.

It was in pain.

Arian rubbed the snake monster's head in an attempt to sooth its pain.

"father…" Arian looked at the old man with a worried expression.

She wanted him to come help the snake monsters.
