Scheme and reward
"Officer knuckles, this isn't the way we came through."
"He's right Are we lost?"
"Oh no, we are lost, we will never see the base again."
The person panicking the most was Lester. Although Frank noticed that the road was a bit unfamiliar, he had confidence in Wang Ben
"Shut up, we know where we are going," said Knuckles.

The smile sent a shiver down the candidate's spine The smile wasn't any good ol' smile. It seemed sinister. They were definitely planning something.

Frank and the others had to go through the front gate before, but that was from their respective village main roads.

"Hey, you stop there," a voice echoed from the gate
It was Luke The dude had not changed at all; he was still obnoxious and power-hungry.
The men on the horses didn't even pay him any attention.
They just slowly rode into the base.
"Do you dare?"
Luke couldn't handle it anymore.
"Who were these guys? Didn't they know he was under the command of Elder Yun?" he thought.
He threw a palm toward the horse in the lead. He had lost his mind in pure anger and rage that they dared to ignore him.

His arm was blocked. He was knocked back a few steps
But soon managed to stabilize himself.
He felt a blade in his neck.
"Someone dared to put a knife to his neck inside the base?" he thought.
He was scared.
There were two possibilities as to why someone would do that.
One was that they had been living under a rock all their lives, but that wasn't possible. These guys were putting on fire-bird-issued uniforms, so they were definitely from this base.
No one would dare put on that uniform and come here if they weren't from the base.

It was knuckles. He was laughing at Luke.
Luke was stunned for a minute. What was Knuckles doing with this senior?

"Wang Ben, you keep acting domineering in front of the gate. You really have no respect. How dare you!" He screamed at the top of his voice so the elder Yun would hear him and come out.
But the elder didn't come out immediately. He wanted them to teach Luke a lesson. The guy was always causing trouble for himself.

"Frank, come out here," said Wang Ben.

And an old man slowly stepped out of the gatehouse.
It was Elder Yun. He was steaming.
"You dare?" he said.
He was looking right at Frank.
A candidate hit a cadet? He would never let that slide.
"You are unruly. You think because you have Wang Ben backing you, then you can do anything."
"You overexaggerate, elder," Wang Ben said.
He had a big smile on his face. His plan had worked. He had managed to infuriate the old man into coming out.
"He just wants revenge. He was tortured almost to death," said Wang Ben.
"It doesn't matter; he is not a part of this base yet, so he has no rights here." elder Yun glared at the Wang Ben.
"Oh, is that so?"
"He's not the only one that wants revenge too," Wang Ben said with a smile.
The old man looked at Wang Ben mockingly.
"You think because you've managed to break through to rank 6 of the body refinement stage that you can face me?" 'Elder Yun' asked.
"Ha-ha, of course not, you are an elder. I can't fight an elder," Wang ben said.
"Only the aged can fight the aged."
Elder Yun was stunned for a moment.

An elderly man was leisurely strolling by.

Elder Yun was scared that he wasn't even close to being a match for towering zen.
Elder Yun didn't waste any time. He flashed and before you knew it, he was outside the base. He was running for his life.
"You shameless old man!" towering zen commented flatly.
"Good job, Wang. You will be rewarded when I get back."
Towering Zen then started giving chase.
Everyone looked at him with admiration.
This was a true hero.
"Wait a minute, where is Luke?"
"Damn that sneaky rat. He used the opportunity to escape." they thought
"Never mind, let's go in," said Wang Ben.
Frank stood there in a daze.
"My father is stronger than him?" Frank just couldn't believe it.
That man was a monster.
He then got on his horse and followed him.
"Officer Wang, I'll be on my way now."
It was Lester. He had to go his own way now. He couldn't stay at the base with them, so he had to continue his journey.
"Okay, don't forget to deliver my message," Wang Ben said.
He handed Lester a message to deliver.
"I will." He then turned around and left.
The horses moved through the streets of the base. It was a sight to behold.
They felt like heroes that had just come back from battle.

These familiar characters were in front of them once more.
To some, this was home, so they quickly settled down.
The candidates went back to their dorms. This was a place they hadn't been to for a while, but they had to go back and rest.
On the way to their dorms, they met some of their neighbor's
fellow candidates like them, so they said hello.
