That's My Treasure!!

"Just you?!"

Nami looked at Luffy, who didn't seem strong at all, and rolled her eyes in disdain.

But before she could say more, she felt a rush of wind by her ear.

"A thief has no right to look down on others like that."

Link placed the Electromagnetic Blade against Nami's smooth neck, his calm voice making her skin crawl with tension.

"What is this, a toy…?"

Feeling the coolness and slight electric shock at her neck made Nami gulp nervously, forcing a laugh to hide her fear.

"You can try and see if it's a toy."

Link smiled back at her.

Even in this dangerous moment, Nami had to admit that this man's smile was charming.

She had never seen such a handsome guy before.

"Um…"

For just a moment, Nami thought of a way to act like a sad little girl.

But suddenly—

She felt lighter! Link had taken the large bag from her back.

"Wow, this is heavy!"

Link weighed it in his hands, nodding with satisfaction.

He guessed there were at least a few million Berries inside.

Nami shouted, "That's my treasure!!"

Seeing her treasure in someone else's hands made her forget about acting like a helpless girl.

She raised her arms, ready to scratch Link's face.

"Rubber… rubber… binding!"

As soon as Nami stepped forward, rubber arms came down from above, tightly binding her hands.

"Nani?! What is this?!"

She stared at her tied-up hands and then at Luffy's long, stretchy arms.

"Monster!!!"

Her high-pitched scream echoed, almost cracking the wooden deck around them.

"That's really loud."

Link rubbed his ears, annoyed.

"If you keep being loud, I'll let my monster captain eat you!"

He threatened Nami playfully.

"Gah…"

Nami stopped screaming, sniffing nervously as she looked at Luffy.

"I like eating meat, not people."

Luffy stated seriously, as it was very important to him.

"Meat…?"

Nami only heard that part and almost fainted again.

"What will happen to me?"

After getting back their treasure, Luffy asked how to deal with Nami.

"Well, since she stole from us, she needs to pay a price. She must realize what she did was wrong and regret it."

Link thought, rubbing his chin. "And since we're looking for that pirate hunter, let's make her our rower."

Rower…?

Nami felt like crying.

How could they make a weak girl like her row the boat? Are you a devil?!

Nami resisted, but with Luffy treating everyone equally, it didn't matter whether she was a girl or a boy.

In the end, Nami had no choice but to join Luffy and Link on their pirate ship.

Thus, the newly sailing Luffy and Link successfully defeated their first enemy since setting sail.

They got their first treasure and… their first captive.

The sky was clear, and the waves sparkled.

The beautiful view of the sea was breathtaking.

A lonely little boat was sailing on the water.

It was the boat Link and Luffy found to live in after leaving Alvida's ship.

It could fit exactly four people.

The sail was full, moving straight ahead in the wind.

"At this speed, we should reach Shelz Town today."

Nami sat weakly on the deck.

"Wow, that's fast! We thought it would take three days, but we'll get there by the second day!"

Coby admired Nami's sailing skills.

She was much better than his own, which was pretty weak.

"If it wasn't for not wanting to do the hard work of rowing, I wouldn't help you."

Nami pouted from the side.

She didn't want to row, so she used her amazing sailing skills to help the strange trio speed up toward Shelz Town.

"Wow, your sailing skills are incredible! Hahaha, you're really good!"

Luffy came over, grinning and ready to pat Nami on the shoulder.

But she quickly dodged away, her eyes wary.

Luffy shrugged it off. "We need a good navigator on the ship! Alright, I've decided—I want you to be my crew member, my navigator!"

"Who would want to join you?!"

Nami was too annoyed to get angry.

She glared at him, saying, "And I really hate pirates! Like, I absolutely despise them!!"
