40(Part 1)

I wake up to Jay's alarm going off

I groan shoving Jay who was snoring in my ear

"Jay" I say looking over to see it said 5:30 in the morning

"Jay!" I say a bit louder peeling his arm off my bare body I grab his phone and turn his alarm off, I grab his shirt from last night I slip it on and start jumping on the bed like a 5 year old

Jay groans as I continue jumping around him

I squeal as he pulls me down into his grasp

"You're alarm was going off and you weren't waking up" I laugh feeling his breath on my shoulder

"I have to work today also so get up" I say grabbing my pillow and hitting his side

"What time?" He asks

"9 to 2 so I'm going to ask Gabi to pick Ryan up cause I'm going to see my dad today" I say, I text my dad last night after Jay went to sleep and we are meeting at 3 at the coffee shop near the hospital

"When did you plan that?" Jay asks slipping his pants on

"After you fell asleep we text for a bit and I am not rushing but I just think it was a long time coming and I am a different person now from when I was younger" I say sitting on my bed

"Have you-" Jay starts then stops looking at me

"Yes?" I ask smirking knowing he was looking for his shirt

"My shirt, black, short sleeve you wouldn't have seen it would you?" He asks leaning closer to me his hands sinking into my covers

"Nope" I say pulling the sides in closer

He pretends to look around on the bed

"Well I believe I found it" he says tugging at the bottom of the shirt

"Oh my God I didnt know" I say before running into the bathroom, I slip the shirt off and throw it out before turning the water on

After I put my white tank top on, a pair of black Jean's, I grab my black heart ring and my single diamond necklace I got from Antonio and his family for Christmas and put it on, I go downstairs to see Jay cooking breakfast

I sit at the counter watching him cook I think smiling hoping this could be our future on day, us waking up in the same bed under the same roof of house, making breakfast, Ryan walking up to the both of us, I know Jay could never replace her dad for her but Jay love and cares for her I see it, possibly maybe one more kid if he wants.

I snap out of my thoughts to a coffee cup being placed in front of me

"You nervous about after work?"

I gulp moving my head side to side signaling kind of

I hear foot steps come from behind me and realized I need to ask Gabi or Antonio to pick Ryan up after school

"Morning sweetie" I say as Ryan jumps up beside me

"Morning" she says placing her arms on the table "morning Jay" she says causing Jay to turn and smile

"Morning Ry" he says going back to cooking

"Today your uncle Toni or aunty Gabi will be picking you up I just to text and ask one of them" I say picking my phone up

"I have a meeting after work ok?" I say as she nods her head
