314. Wonder of U Part I

Narcos and Mercuria wake up in padded cells, both next to each other. They aren't hooked up to a chair like Gabrielle is.

*GASP!!!*

"Gabrielle! Merci!" Narcos gasps out of fear. "Gabrielle! Merci!"

"Narcos!?" asked Mercuria.

"Oh, thank God... Where are we?"

"In a padded cell... I think... Oh, God... Is this a Stand!?"

"No... We have Stand-Destabilizers around our necks... They wouldn't need this if this is a Stand."

"Where are we?"

"I don't know... Is there a door in front of you, too?"

"Yes. I have an idea..." Mercuria takes out some Kiss stickers from her pocket, all folded into each other. She takes one sticker and unfolds it. She sticks it on the device and duplicates the Stand-Destabilizer and fuses them, breaking them. "Apparently, the stickers don't disappear unless my Stand deactivates them itself. I keep some in my pocket just in case."

She does this with the door handle as well, breaking it.

She opens the door and sees a strange empty stone hallway.

She refolds the sticker and pockets it.

Soon, both of them are free from their padded cells.

"It's an abandoned prison," said Mercuria. "Something about this is eerily familiar to me."

"Likewise," said Narcos.

Someone also leaves the cell. He has a bowler hat, black pants, black boots, white gloves, a scarf around his neck, and a black cloak. He has a cane that helps him up. He is facing the other way.

Narcos and Mercuria's eyes widen. "What-?"

*THWIP!!!*

Narcos is bleeding. He has trouble breathing. He feels a sharp pain in his throat.

He checks his neck and sees that a pen is currently stabbing his neck.

"NARCOS!!!" yelled Mercuria.

Narcos pulls it out with Coldplay and freezes his wound. "What is this presence I feel? This person in front of us...He's dangerous..."

"With the New Locacaca," said Tooru to Gabrielle. "I will steal everyone's memories with a single DISC... By extracting the DISC from Heaven. The New Locacaca turns us into Pillar-Men. But then I found this Stone Arrow..."

He shows a Stone Arrow to Gabrielle. It's a Stand Arrow, but it has a beetle stone on the arrowhead. "This one is special. I will turn both of us into gods, Gabrielle."

"Eat me!" Gabrielle spits on his face out of disgust.

He wipes it off with a napkin from his pocket. "I always loved you, Gabrielle... I always loved our child. Did you know that?"

"You're the reason my mother died..." said Gabrielle.

"What!? Me!? How!?" asked Tooru. "You do realize that I didn't even want her dead, right? None of us did! I didn't ask Kenneth to kill you! He went there by himself!And... after some conditioning, he apologized to me."

"To you for what he did to me!?"

"Yes! We're a couple, Gabrielle!"

"No, we aren't!" Gabrielle turns away.

"You're really going to listen to the people who made you miserable your whole childhood!? The people who left you!? I will never leave you, Gabrielle!"

"That's the first thing you did when you found out I was pregnant!"

"How's Mikaela, by the way?" asked Tooru.

"We call her Narcissa."

"Well... You should've called her Torun or something like that."

"Forget it! You're scum and a piece of fucking shit!"

"I remembered how you used to run into my arms whenever I went home from work."

Gabrielle's eyes widen.

"You have no idea how much it hurt... knowing what you did... forgetting about me like that..."

"You left..." she looked away.

"I came back... looking for you. I just decided to run away and think for a while... I wanted to think about how it would affect our future... Will she be an Aswang? Grimm? Rock Human? All?We are the first Rock Human Male and Human Female to be able to interbreed, Gabrielle... Don't you know how much that made me think about our work? About us? I loved you so much... There isn't a day that goes by without me even having a single thought about you.For that new boyfriend of yours... He's so stupid that he can hurt himself with his own powers! Me? I'm elegant, smart, beautiful, strong, independent, funny, and calm like you! What do you see in him?"

Gabrielle turns red. She shakes her head. "Dad would've killed you before you had the chance to steal my heart... Hay Naku..."

"Speaking about your father..." said Tooru, as he takes out a DISC. "Do you want to know what my Stand can do?"

Meanwhile...

Narcos drops to the ground, trembling.

Suddenly, Narcos' shoe catches on fire and burns his foot. He woges into a Rock Human to avoid burning, but this triggers the water sprinklers above.

The water droplets then harden into blades and stab the pair.

They run.

They run toward an open padded cell and hid there.

The water sprinklers turn off.

"What the hell is going on!?" asked Mercuria.

*BANG!!!*

A light bulb above them explodes into flames, as Narcos blocks the attack with a dome of ice.

"FUREZE!!!" cried Coldplay.

"Who is that guy?" asked Narcos.

Suddenly, the ice Narcos created forms icicles and stabs him in the back.

Narcos coughs blood.

"Narcos!" yelled Mercuria. "This is a Stand Ability! Who is it? Was it the guy?"

Suddenly, the ice shatters, and the pieces pierce Mercuria like bullets all over her body.

None of the wounds are fatal, however. But they are gravely injured and they could lose a lot of blood.

"Why... would you do that?" asked Mercuria.

"That wasn't me, Merci," said Narcos, struggling to keep up. His legs shake in pain.

They stand up and try to follow after the Stand...

Meanwhile...

"I can control things that fate wields... They're called... Calamities. I never fully understood how these work, but all I know is that these Calamities appear in everyone's life. Bad things always happen to good and bad people, disregarding who they are and what they did. This is fate. It is blissful, yet cruel.It helps me control my own fate. So that I will be remembered by the people who love me. Like you..."

Tooru holds her hands. "Please! Marry me, Gabrielle JoJo!"

Gabrielle turns red. "I-..."

"Hahaha! Sorry... I couldn't help but laugh at myself! I was pretty damned Cringe, wasn't I?" asked Tooru. "But... I'm serious... Let's run away! Start a family! Everyone would forget everything anyway! We won't have to live under Cipher's party! I'll strike a deal with him where we live in a world where we could be happy forever! You could even cheat on me with that other guy, Narcos, in that world! Just please! Be with me!"

"I-..."

"I can do anything! Protect us! Control our fates! No one in your life could ever die again!"

"Well-... I-..."

Gabrielle blushes and turns away.

He leans closer to her face.

"I guess I'll never know the reason why...You love me as you do...That's the wonder...The wonder of you..." he whispered in her ear. "Please... Gabrielle... Join me... I... love... you..."

Gabrielle gasps softly and her eyes widen even more.

Meanwhile...

Narcos and Mercuria kept on chasing after Wonder of U, who runs away.

The Stand, Wonder of U, slowly turns to the pair, revealing its face. Its head is made of a DISC-like twirl going down its neck. It is white and gold with purple eyes.

It silently stares at the pair.

It turns back around and opens the door to the outside.

The pair chase it outside.

*eeeng...*

Narcos' eyes widen. "RUN!!!"

The pair run toward the Stand.

Suddenly, a plane door drops and chops off Mercuria's foot.

Mercuria roars out of pain, woging into a Blutbad.

"MERCI!!!" Narcos grabbed her in his arms. He freezes her foot and takes the foot, buttoning her leg back up.

"Are you okay!?" asked Narcos, grabbing her by the cheek.

"I'm fine..." she whispered. She slowly stands up but limps.

Narcos sighs and carries her, running toward the Stand.

"GET BACK HERE!!!" yelled Narcos.

Suddenly, leaves flowing by the wind shoot Narcos like bullets. Riddled with leaves, Narcos slows down and drops to the ground.

He is left kneeling outside another building, as Wonder of U opens a door and goes into the vicinity, then it closes the door.

Narcos and Mercuria drop to the ground, thinking about Gabrielle while looking up at the stars. They're losing a lot of blood. Narcos desperately freezes and buttons up their wounds, trembling while doing so. The buttons don't fully close the wound, as some blood and plasma drip from each hole.

Narcos and Mercuria sigh after Narcos healed the pair.

They drop to the ground, paralyzed.

Suddenly, Wonder of U appears before them.

"I am Wonder of U..." said the Stand in a deep voice. "I will now take away your Stands... and your memories..." 

"What?" whispered Narcos. "What do you-?"

Suddenly, DISCs are pulled out of their faces.

"Wait! Wait!" sobbed Narcos. "No! No, no, no! Please! Not again! Please!"

"Narcos, it's okay..."

"NO!!! I CAN'T FEEL THIS AGAIN!!! I CAN'T HAVE THIS!!! NO!!!" he sobbed.

"Kuya..." said Mercuria, sobbing and grabbing his hand. Narcos' eyes widen, turning to her. "It's okay... We lost... It's all... up to Gabrielle, now..."

"I don't want to forget... Not again..." sobbed Narcos.

"So... this is it..." wept Mercuria. "This is how we die, Kuya. Losing our blood... Y'know? I don't think it's so bad being a Blutbad... Because going through that... I got to meet you."

"I'm grateful..." wept Narcos. "That... you and Gabrielle... and the others... are my family. I have nothing... but gratitude... for you two... for giving me a new memory. A family..."

Wonder of U snickered. "Sure thing, Narcos Anastasia... Or should I say, Gloria Ermes Costello?"

"I will never stop..."

Narcos' DISCs slowly pull back into his head.

"This one's resolve is... persistent..." said Wonder of U, struggling. "I cannot... Why can I not... Pull the DISCs out? I wonder... Give it up... You have lost..."

Meanwhile...

"I will do anything, Gabrielle... To be with you!" yelled Tooru. 

"I can't..." said Gabrielle. "I love... someone else... And I don't need you anymore to prevent him to be in my heart."

"Don't be stupid, Gabrielle..." sneered Tooru.

She sees that the Stone-Crested Stand Arrow vibrates in his pocket.

"You know that I am your only chance of love... I... AM YOUR ONLY CHANCE OF SURVIVAL IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!! I AM THE WONDER OF YOU!!! EVERYTHING THAT YOU ARE!!! I... AM THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE!!! YOU LOVE ME!!!"

"No, I don't... Sorry, asshole."

*THWIP!!!*

Tooru gasps.

The Stand Arrow from his pocket bounces and flies toward...

Narcos...

*THWIP!!!*

*SPLAT!!!*

The Stand Arrow slowly enters his Stand's body as Narcos screams.
