Chapter 188: The Madman

The clues seemed to be connecting.

Plunder's history bore traces of contamination. Within the small chapel of the sixth district lay a twisted and sealed temporal-spatial junction, whilst an eerie subspace rift was hidden upon the Storm Goddess's statue. And subspace... it could contaminate everything outside of itself.

Sherry was one of the people who remembered the great fire that year. As the flames rose, she should have perished like everyone else, but instead, she survived by inexplicably merging with an Abyssal Hound. While everyone's perception was distorted by the historical contamination, she retained memories of the fire.

Now, a group of Doomsday Preachers had attacked Sherry—these mad followers of subspace, delusional and speaking nonsense, but their every sentence revolved around "correct history" and "loopholes."
