Chapter 7 Fate Harvester and Fate Sealer

A single child was running on the fields which it was filled with flowers and rays. She was giggling happily in the flower field while shouting out for her mother who was watching from afar. She saw her mother waving at her with a gentle smile as she made a flower tiara. She was wearing a pure white dress and she was coming to her with her usual gentle expression.

Her hands were scarred by the past, but she found her belongings now. She was happy to see her child growing up in this peaceful field.

" Qattara, come here. I have a present for you."

The mother said as she gestured for her to come. Qattara came to her mother while holding a clover that had 4 sides. She handed it to her mother and smiled.

" Mother, am I a good child?"

She asked innocently, expecting praise from her mother. However, her mother didn't tell like ad she expected, instead, she patted her head and placed the flower bead on her head.

" You are the greatest gift, I had. Qattara, remember that I will love you forever."

The mother said, hugging her child and carrying her to their home. Qattara closed her eyes as she inhaled the fragrance of her mother. It smelled like a flower.

Shake*

Suddenly, she felt a tremor. Qattara opened her eyes and found herself laying on the ground while tears were dripping from her eyes. She quickly wiped her tears as she sighed.

" What the hell, it is not so like me."

She mumbled as she got up from the ground.

Tock*

She felt something under her hand as she looked at it with a frown. Her eyes grew bigger and she gasped with fear mixed with surprise.

" These are the divine weapons, but why are they here?"

She said, looking around her with bewilderment. However, she saw nobody. She touched the weapons and felt something familiar. They weren't cold like other metal. They were warm and gentle like somebody.

" What am I thinking? Well, let's get out of this place first before anyone finds me."

She spoke while taking the weapons for no reason. Although she was afraid before, her rationality came back as she calmly decided to leave the ruins.

She searched for her items and found a few essential items as she packed them in her backpack. Furthermore, she took the gold that was sitting on the ruined altar.

She prayed for the unknown goddess as she took it with her. The gold was a little heavier than she thought, so used her mana to make it lighter.

" Huh, strange?!"

She narrowed her eyes, feeling her mana. She found her level has increased from 3 to 4 which was an unexpected surprise for her.

Creak*

The stone door was opened and the first thing she saw was a bright sun that was illuminating the entire hall. She carefully scanned around her and found no one.

" Great, I am so lucky."

She praised her fortune as she ran out with laughter. She couldn't believe that nobody wasn't here. She took a deep breath and opened the temple.

Swoosh*

The gentle rays of sunshine warmed her body as she looked forward to the gate where she can escape.

" Hmm, why is there so much dusts around there? Yep, that is a bad place. Let's escape to the north."

She calculated the odds in her head quickly to avoid any unnecessary complications.

Boom*

Suddenly, a figure of a human landed before her. He was bleeding hard as he staggered to get up from the ground.

Drip*

The blood was dripping from his hideous wounds and he fell with a blank look.

" You should have stayed down, human."

A man with a short sword came out from the darkness. His eerie eyes were looking at the man with mockery. He grabbed the man with his bloody hand and lifted him like he was some kind of rag doll.

" Run, girl!"

The man coughed as he muttered to Qattara who was frozen in fear. Her brain was buzzing and she could no longer process what was happening to her and the man, but one thing was clear.

" If it is my fate, I will accept it."

She said, following the voice inside her head.
