I'm dead. Simple as this, I was an active guy with a normal life, I liked sports my entire life,and in my later years dabbled in martial arts, fell in love with it and regretted not have founded it sooner, in my youthful years.

My death was not special in any way, did not save a girl from a truck, nor got hit by lightning. I got hit by a stray bullet from a gang war happening close to my neighborhood. It was common in my country, the level of violence in the drug trafficking is terrible.

I was surprised that my consciousness did not vanish. I never was a religious guy. But now I found myself in a space close to the truth's place, from Fullmetal alchemist, and this "guy" is in front of me.

"Well, nothing to waste time for. Spin the wheel and you get to reincarnate in the place its stops. After that you can select your appearance." The being started the conversation, not giving me space to respond. It gave the impression that he did not attribute any importance for your thoughts and opinions.

I was not discouraged from that however, it matters not to me the value he attribute to my person. I was grateful though, because I was given another chance. So I nodded and spun the wheel that will decide my fate.

The wheel was enormous, and it contained an infinite number of words. From those that I saw before in a language that I knew, and those that did not even appeared in an earthly language. In the end it stopped in My Hero Academia. Well, I didn't watch much of that show, just the first season, the MC did not match with my taste in protagonists. But I loved the concept of quirks and heroism. So I asked the god.

"Ehh, will I be able to have a choice in the quirk department? And will I keep my memory?"

"No to the first question. And yes! To the second. Now select your appearance in your in adulthood."

I was a little bummed out about not being able to select my quirk, but having my memory should give me an advantage.

" Well, give me the Yujiro hanma appearance." I liked the style of the ogre. So even if I was not a Hanma by blood, I was going to bring honor to the man by being a badass.

" Very well, have a nice life."

And with that, I was out.
