Chapter 64: Substitute
Eulia blushed a little the way she looked at her aggrieved is so cute.
"Mom, don't pinch her cheeks anymore it will go swollen," Eulia said softly
Eulias mom stop pinching and smiled happily.
"I must say you are a good kid" Eulias mom patted Lu Xie's head softly
"Maybe it's because she lost her father that she wanted to please me" Lu's mom shook her head
"Boo I'm already independent I don't want to rely on my mother for everything" Lu Xie whined
"Yes yes my baby is independent now and can take care of her mom" Lu's mom smiled sweetly
Eulia looked at their interaction and felt her heart beat slightly, looking at her smile her face had a blush. After Lu Xie massaged Eulias mom she put sanitizer on her hand.
"Mom, you should go back it's already been 40 minutes," Lu Xie said softly
"Oh my, already. Well I guess I have to return to my room now Mrs. Jian" Lu's mom said sadly
"Then let's go together I'm also tired and want to rest" Eulias mom waved her hand
"Then let's go" Lu's mom held her daughter's hand
Lu Xie unlocked the wheelchair and was about to push her but heard a voice.
"Eulia Auntie" a woman's voice called a little excited
Shuna was caught up with work, she didn't notice the time until her stomach growled. She subconsciously looks at the door and the small table in her office but saw no one.
She sighed hard and called her secretary.
"Did Lu Xie come by any chance?" Shuna asked
"No miss" the secretary answered
"I see" then put the call down
'What am I expecting' she thought
During the 1 year and a half of their relationship, Lu Xie would often come to her office during lunch to eat with her when she was busy she would just wait for her. She never complains and was patiently waiting.
Since then her stomach problems never hurt anymore and she stops taking medicines. When she took over the company she didn't has time to eat, if she is not in the office she would be out chasing Eulia.
Shuna sighed then looked at the clock beside her desk, she stood up took her car key, and left. She stopped by a flower shop and got two banquets of flowers one were Daisy and the other was rose.
She went to the city hospital, she parked her car near the hospital took the two banquets, and enter the hospital. She pressed the elevator when it opened she stepped in at the same time the other elevator opened.
Eulia and her mom stepped out of the other elevator, so they didn't see each other.
Shuna went to the VIP floor, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door. No one answered, she knocked again but no one still answered.
"They might be in therapy" She mumbled then sat on a bench outside the room she put down the flowers and waited.
**After 30 minutes**
They still didn't return, then a nurse came and cleaned the room.
"Excuse me, where is the patient in this room," Shuna asked coldly
"Mrs. Jian and her daughter went to the garden in the back earlier" The nurse answered
Shuna nodded took the two banquets and stepped inside the elevator, she made her way to the garden where she saw Eulia and her mom but also... Lu Xie.
"Eulia Auntie" She called and the four people looked at her
Lu Xie unlocked the wheelchair, "It seems that you have a guest we will leave first" she politely then pushed her mom's wheelchair
"Baby, you're going back to work after this right? Don't push yourself too hard mom can don't want you to be tired" Lu's mom said worriedly
"Don't worry mom I won't, I'll leave after the contract" Lu Xie said lightly then passed by Shuna
Shuna felt entangled in her heart, hearing her say she will leave she felt a heaviness in her heart. She can't explain why but it was unbearable.
Seeing Shuna, Eulia felt her good mood was put to drain, she gritted her teeth and unlocked her mother's wheelchair, and pushed her into the hospital. Ignoring Shuna.
Shuna snapped out of her senses and chased after her.
"Eulia Auntie good afternoon" Shuna greeted brightly
"Stay away from me or else," Eulia said very pissed
When they reached the first floor, Lu Xie had packed her things and said goodbye to go to work. Eulia immediately went in her direction.
"Axie" Eulia called softly
Lu Xie looked at her and smiled slightly, "Yes" she asked
"I was wondering do you have time after work," Eulia asked softly
Lu Xie didn't answer immediately and looked at Shuna who was following behind with a shocked face.
"I will come back here for my mother after work" Lu Xie didn't answer whether she would go with her or not
"Then how about let's go on dinner with my mom and auntie" Eulia suggests
"My daughter is right it's been a long time since I had a conversation with your mom" Eulias mom added she knew her daughter wants to keep that woman away
"I understand Auntie, I'll meet you later tonight. I'm sorry but I can't stay any longer I'll go first" Lu Xie said politely
"Good go now" Eulias mom was satisfied
"See you tonight Auntie Eulia" Lu Xie bowed slightly then left
Shuna watched the conversation and don't know what to feel, Eulia took advantage of her blankness and entered the elevator. Shuna then noticed no one was around her and sighed as she entered the elevator to the VIP room.
Eulia and her mom entered the room and locked the door, Eulias mom sighed.
"Is she still not giving up?" Eulias mom asked
"Yeah, until now I already rejected her again and again but she just won't stop. I'm about to go crazy" Eulia complained angrily
"Then how about you go and look for a lover that she can stop bothering you" Eulias mom
"I want to but there's no one who I'm interested in"Eulia sighed
It's not that she's picky she had a lot of suitors since she was a child but her heart didn't feel moved by any of them even the slightest.
"Then what do you think of Lu Xie" Eulias covered her mouth while smiling
Eulia suddenly blushed slightly, "I... Well I have a good impression of her I think she is good" She said a little embarrassed
She didn't know why but her heart skipped a beat when her mom mentioned her name.
Eulias mom smirked and laughed under her breath.
"My, this is the first time my daughter is praising someone" Eulias mom teased
"N... No, I didn't" Eulia suddenly retorted back making her mom smile even more
"Ara ara " Her mom laughed

Eulias face turned cold and looked at the window near the door to see the person. Seeing her again her blood pressure is going high.
"Shuna I told you a thousand times to leave me ALONE," Eulia said angrily through the window
"O...okay, I'm sorry" Shuna bowed her head her heart hurt then placed the flowers on the bench near the door and left.
Seeing her leave Eulia breath in relief, Eulias mom patted her back.
"*sigh* I have to get a bodyguard from now on"
"Okay, it's up to you" Eulias mom patted her head

Lu Xie went back to the company, she was about to enter her office when one of the staff stop her.
"Miss Lu Xie, the CEO of Zhou Enterprise is looking for you"
"Huh!? CEO Zhou???" Lu Xie said confused
"I to don't know but he came here this lunch break and ask for you"
"I see, where is he now"
"His waiting for you in the lobby"
"Okay thank you" Lu Xie walked slowly to the lobby

When she came to the lobby, she saw a young in his early 20s wearing a suit. He was tall, handsome, and had a stern face.
Zhou Lee was sitting patiently on the sofa, his gaze swiping around the crowd, and saw a woman walking near him. He immediately knew who she is, his heart started to beat faster and he started to sweat on his hand.
"Good afternoon CEO Zhou" Lu Xie bowed politely
"G... Good afternoon please take a sit" Zhou Lee stuttered a little
"I'm sorry but I still have something to do. What is that the CEO call for me?" Lu Xie asked directly
Zhou Lee suddenly became mute he don't know what to say and he is very nervous. Lu Xie stood in front of him waiting for him to speak.
Seeing that he didn't speak Lu Xie wasted 10 minutes and she felt irritated.
"If the CEO doesn't have anything to say I'm going first" Lu Xie turned her back
Zhou Lee scold himself and his hand grab her wrist.
"Please wait," He said nervously
"Mr. Zhou please respect yourself" Lu Xie frowned
"I...~~~" he didn't finish speaking when his hand was suddenly yanked away
"Mr. Zhou why are you harassing my... My employee" Shuna asked coldly
Earlier she noticed them in the lobby Lu Xie was standing in front of Zhou Lee one of her investors. Then she felt her heart once again ache, seeing Lu Xie turn her back she felt relief for a while not until her wrist was grabbed by Zhou Lee.
Her mood went down and walked toward them fast with her heels, she had the urge to separate them immediately she didn't like seeing something like this. She yanked his hand away from her
"Mr. Zhou, why are you harassing my..." Shuna stopped for a little and realized that she and Lu Xie had already broken up so she can't say that she was her girlfriend
"My employee" she continued but she felt very uncomfortable
Zhou Lee took back his hand and clear his throat, Lu Xie was already irritated and left without looking at them. When Zhou Lee was about to speak he saw Lu Xie leaving back he clenched his hand, and scold himself for being a coward.
"I'm sorry for my offense I'm going first" Zhou Lee bowed then he left
Shuna looked at his back coldly and went to her office. She wanted to talk with Lu Xie but she didn't have the courage, she was the one who broke up with her, she was the one who used her for her desires and she was the one who didn't cherish her.
"Damn it" Shuna cursed
