Pucker

"I told you, didn't I? It is too late in the night and she needed to rest early after that incident." Sullivan had to keep his true intentions a secret because it was much weirder than their misunderstanding. "The taxi drivers may also be crooks, you know. Jennifer is an actress and they'll probably hike up the price when they recognize her."

Hooking up an 18-year-old girl to your 12-year-old grandson crosses way too many boundaries. He had to keep his eyes on the road lest he slips up from being too crafty.

"The car clock just reached 10:30 and looking out the window, taxis are relatively plentiful. Also, Ms. Connelly will probably get a free fare by trading for her autograph which would probably balloon in price over the course of her career."

Of course, as smart as Sullivan is, Alexander carries the same advantage and were already putting some of the puzzle pieces together.

"I seem to catch a glimpse of your look of plotting against us through that rearview mirror, which means that your plan has something to do with me and Ms. Connelly."

Alexander was muttering at this point and then something finally struck him.

He kept quiet until he had to facepalm himself from his grandfather's over-the-top scheme.

Jennifer may not be able to keep up with the grandparent and grandchild dynamic but she was still able to comprehend the boy's wordy deductions.

She blushed pink from the immoral set-up and looked fumingly toward the elderly driver. "Mr. Creed, please stop the car! I want to get out."

Of all the Hollywood struggles she's been through, this had probably topped everything.

Alexander, who was previously and smoothly socializing himself out of this scenario, can't help but feel scared of his grandfather's plan breaking.

Of the major film distribution company's troublesome negotiations and hidden traps, Sullivan just decided to make a distribution company of his own.

For the smear campaign against Home Alone, he just sent out an underdog sob-story article to reverse the negative trend.

For Kirk Douglas' Oscar power, the old man just simply said he didn't care for awards.

For the major's hostile takeover, he just said they were stupid and foiled it all due to the meticulous vow of secrecy for Home Alone.

For Alexander's smooth-talking his way to not make Miss Connelly hostile, the old man just had to embrace his San Fernando Valley roots.

-------

"What did this old man do wrong?" Sullivan could only sigh at his failure as a role model and start slowing down the car.

Jennifer was now bent on escaping this weird scenario that she found herself in.

It was up to Alexander to fix the situation and just as the car stopped and Ms. Connelly was heading for the door, he jumped up from his seat.

Jennifer and Sullivan had no time to react before Alexander clasped the girl's cheeks and planted a kiss on her.

It was not the kiddy kiss on the cheek but full-blown lips against lips.

Fighting through the weird taste of her lipsticks, Alexander upgraded things to something familiar to the French.

The other two were too stunned to process everything.

Alexander quickly pushed the lock on the car door and shooed his absentminded grandfather to continue driving, all the while he was invading poor Ms. Connelly's mouth.

Before the stunned duo could wrap their head around things, the car had already stopped at its usual parking spot near the Creed residence.

------

Alexander had already stopped kissing Jennifer and was grabbing her by the waist.

The girl was too embarrassed by the boy's surprise that she was still in loading mode.

"I..." Sullivan wanted to defend himself while Alexander just gave him a look and made a gesture that said- 'I'll deal with the rest. Go before you make things even more complicated.'

Old Creed got the message and left the car to unlock the house door. The old man didn't forget to give his grandson a thumbs up. If it was meant for responding to the message or commending his grandson, only the old man knew.

With only the two young people left in the car, the confrontation continued. Not the passionate kind but the talking kind.

"Sorry about that, my grandpa's age is slowly wiring his thoughts weird." Alexander let go of her waist and leaned his back on the side door of the car. He also stepped his shoes on the seat as an act of revenge on his grandfather.

In any case, his relaxed and carefree demeanor calmed Jennifer a bit. All throughout this stormy night, only this little boy was rational and calm to be trusted.

"I-I guess I also was just on too much of a roller coaster to think clearly." Jennifer palmed herself from the onslaught of awkwardness. Although the old Creed had weird intentions, looking back on his mannerisms, he reminded her of urging parents plotting to set up their troubled child into dating someone they think is suitable.

It was understandable until you take into account the age difference between the couple they were setting up.

A parent setting up their offspring to older but wealthy and successful people is profiteering.

But a rich grandparent setting up his young grandchild to an older and simple actress is just borderline inexplicable.

"Don't trouble or blame yourself. You're clearly the victim in all these, so you have the higher moral ground to look down on." Alexander could only resort to even more smooth-talking to resolve her unleashed hostility.

"I guess I am." Jennifer had already leaned back on the backrest to relax and keep her mind off the trouble. "You speak well despite the fact that you should be the culprit yourself."

"What did I do wrong?" Alexander exaggeratedly pointed to himself with an aggrieved face to lighten up his sentence and act innocent.

"You kissed me without my permission. Isn't that your wrongdoing?!" Jennifer squinted her eyes at him accusingly.

"I see no wrong in that." Alexander shrugged and confidently grinned. "As a matter of fact, I might just do it again to prove how far from being a wrong thing it is."

"Then, try it! See how I can sue you for harassment" The girl said in confidence and puckered her lips in a taunt.

Their somewhat fierce confrontation ended with both their lips interconnected just like how they were when reaching this destination.

This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.

You've been warned!
