WHISPERS

Something's wrong! I could tell because my head hurts and there were whispers, little tiny voices in my head that whispered at me harshly but I couldn't make out a word of what they were saying. This didn't happen yesterday when the full moon was out and the pain wasn't that bad. Also, it wasn't supposed today. The second of the five moons was supposed to happen after the next two weeks or so not immediately.

"Arianne?"

I looked up to see Ivan still staring at me with worry. I tried to speak but instead of words, a growl came out. I breathed heavily and turned to look at the twins who were looking at me with wide eyes and for some reason, I had the insane urge to claw their eyes out. What the hell was going on? They were my children for crying out loud!

"Ivan.." I finally managed to get a word out even though it was gruff. "You need to leave, take the children and leave immediately.

"What? But I can't leave you like this? I can't..."
