Hopeful

While talking, Asher fell asleep and Felix let him sleep without any disturbance.

Felix still didn't leave the room. He just stayed on the bed, watching Asher.

However, then he heard a knock on the door and went to see who it was.

He didn't ask who it was because he was upset minded at the time. So, he just walked to the door and opened it where Anne stood with tears in her eyes.

"Anne?"

Felix closed the door and stepped outside,  half kneeling, coming face to face with Anne. Felix was surprised she was crying and wiped her tears, then asked her what's wrong.

Well...he had a lot of reasons that might involve him for her reasons to cry, but he couldn't choose one.

Could it be...she is crying because he had scared her by staying 'sick' all this time?

Or...was it because he came outside yet didn't meet her?

Or...was it because someone else upsetted her?
