Chapter 27

"Marshtomp!"

Magnemite not being able to handle all of the damage faints from the two direct mud-slaps.

"You've done a splendid job so far Brendan, It's up to my ace Pokemon now." Wattson says in a relaxed matter expecting this much from the Rookie Tournament winner. "Go Magneton."

Pokemon: Magneton (Light Yellow)

"Magneton!"

Brendan deciding to start off with the first attack goes first. "Marshtomp Rock slide!"

Marshtomp hearing his trainer goes for a rockslide, Magneton seeing this uses substitute by itself to dodge all of the incoming rocks. "Magneton use flash cannon."

"Marshtomp water pulse then rock throw."

Marshtomp seeing the incoming flash cannon uses water pulse to trying cancel out the attack. Sadly when the two attacks collide flash cannon overpowers water pulse and gets a direct hit on Marshtomp sending it out of the arena.

"Marshtomp!" Brendan cries out, Brendan has never seen his Pokemon so brutally hit before so of course he's a little scared for Marshtomp.

Soon after this Brendan recalls Marshtomp and sends out his next Pokemon.

"Combusken!

"Combusken let's finish this quickly flamethrower"

"Magneton flash cannon"

Both Pokemon hearing their trainers, use their moves. Both flamethrower and flash cannon on impact cancel each other in the process making a small dust cloud.

Combusken seeing this uses quick attack to maneuver around the dust cloud. Brendan seeing an opportunity to get another attack in calls out. "Flamethrower Combusken!"

Wattson quickly countering tells Magneton to dodge. "Magneton gyroball to the ground!" Magneton dodging the flamethrower puts Combusken in an awkward position. "Magneton discharge."

Brendan seeing Combusken in this state smiles. "Combusken tank the discharge and go for a flame charge."

Magneton in a desperate situation goes for a full powered discharge. The said discharge hitting Combusken completely. To the surprise of Magneton and Wattson Combusken doesn't flinch and tanks the hit and goes for a flame charge.

Combusken now damaged and hurt gets a direct hit on Magneton making it flinch. "Combusken finish it off with a double kick!" Brendan shouts

Combusken now in the final moments of the battle uses quick attack to get closer and hits Magneton with a double kick sending it crashing to the ground with dust clouds covering it.

Both Brendan and Wattson holding their breaths for what feels like for ever see the dust cloud dissipate. "Winner Brendan from Littleroot town!" The speakers shout.

* * * 2 hours later * * *

A young man can be seen sitting down on a bench in a secluded part of the garden of Mauville city. This young man is currently holding a mysterious egg, said egg is currently shaking frantically.

"Everyone come here." Brendan tells his Pokemon who are roaming the huge garden. His Pokemon hearing this a few Pokemon start to walk towards Brendan with the rest being told through Kirlias telepathy. "This egg should be hatching soon so we gotta give him a warm welcome, it should be hatching in just a few more seconds." Brendan says excitedly.

A few seconds later a blue glow can be seen on Brendan's lap. It's very bright making everyone in the vicinity close their eyes, a few seconds later a

creature can be seen resting on top of Brendan's lap.

Pokemon: Shiny Beldum (Violet)

"Be~l d~umm."

The small and heavy, white, and gold creature yawns out extremely tired. "Hey there big guy, I'm your new trainer my names Brendan." Brendan says cooing at the Beldum. Beldum now looking at the weird thing talking to it notices five other Pokemon watching this encounter.

Combusken getting the attention of the little Beldum and starts to talk fast and flex it's muscles trying to impress it.

Kirlia currently cooing at the new member with Marshtomp spraying small amounts of water on it to cool it down from the hot weather.

Meanwhile Grovyle and Poochyena currently trying to interact with the cute Beldum but it gets scared from them and decides to head butt Grovyle.

After a while of back and forth between Brendan's Pokemon and Beldum he let the other Pokemon start to play and interact with Beldum, so he can get more used to his new family.

Todays my birthday :)

The votes for the egg were as follows 18-12 with Beldum being the winner, we don't mention bagon I didn't bother seeing it's votes RIP

Sorry for the short chapter guys. Next chapter is gonnna be showing you guys all an update of Brendan's Pokemon like stats and Talent.

Surprisingly it's my birthday today not really the best one to be honest. In a room with bad signal without a proper toilet or shower. The only reason I'm here is because I can't really leave this place because I've gotta wait for the next ferry.

So writing this chapter was the only thing I could do the day was really boring I wish I was at home with friends maybe play some video games . But I can't do anything about it.
