-------------

My team obviously had some questions, but they mostly held them in as it was about an S Rank Secret. So instead we went for a barbecue.

But as we were enjoying ourselves, a Jonin entered the restaurant, followed by three Genins. The Jonin was a woman, quite beautiful might I add, and was unmistakably of the Hyuuga Clan.

A calm smile suffused her face as she approached and said with an erringly calm voice, "Amai, what a pleasant surprise to see you here."

Amai-Sensei nodded slightly, returning the greetings, "Indeed it is. You have brought your team here to eat after your mission too?"

The Hyuuga Jonin nodded slightly, before looking over to us. Her gaze lingered on me for a moment before she smiled politely, "You have a lovely team."

Again, Amai-Sensei returned the compliment, using a similar tone. Seeing their conversation wasn't really leading anywhere, I turned my gaze away from them, and spotted Laiko glaring at one of the other Genins in the other team.

The other three were all the same age as my teammates, so they had probably been in the same class at the academy. All of them looked like they were clanless, and the team was composed of two guys and one girl.

The girl looked… passable, she looked pretty plain, but that wasn't something to despise for a ninja as it allowed for a better blending ability.

I'm not one to brag… cough cough… but if I don't use the Body Transformation Jutsu, I fear that no matter where I go in the future, I will gather attention to me, which wasn't really ideal for stealth missions.

Well, of course, it came with its own perks but I'm going off course. One of the two guys had round glasses, a little too big for him as he kept pushing them up, but while he looked a little lost, I could see a glint in his eyes. He wasn't as careless as he looked.

As for the final one, he was the odd one out. He looked at least a couple years older than them, and even for someone that age he was built like a boar, and looking at his wild eyes, he probably behaved like one. I don't see him live long in our field of work.

The big guy's gaze shifted from Laiko to me as he clenched his fist and snorted, "What's your problem?"

I squinted my eyes slightly at him, and didn't have to say anything as his glass wearing teammate coughed, "Inaki, cut it out."

Inaki? That name rings a bell…

Meanwhile, Inaki snorted, "Shut up four eyes."

Laiko took a step forward, standing between me and Inaki as he growled, "Back off, before I make you."

Well, that was surprising of Laiko, or maybe not. He is confusing recently. But his action did ring a bell. When we arrived near the prison for our mission, my teammates did talk of a certain Inaki, a classmate of theirs.

Inaki scoffed while looking at me, "What, can't speak for yourself? Pathetic child."

I rolled my eyes at his provocation, and turned to look at the Hyuuga Jonin, who was watching us along with Amai-Sensei, and said, "You should tighten the leash over your dog."

The Hyuuga's blank eyes shrank a little in what seemed to be surprise, while Inaki's face turned tomato red as he yelled, "What did you say you little…"

Before he could finish, the Hyuuga Jonin sent a glare at him, making him stop. His face still very red, he said through gritted teeth, "I'd like to see if you would dare to say that to me outside."

I shook my head and showed my hand to the Hyuuga as I said, "Name's Sukaina Sumichi, nice to meet you."

She was, once again, surprised, but she quickly took my hand and said, "Yono Hyuuga, nice to meet you too, although I would prefer if you could refrain from insulting my students."

I nodded slightly, and Amai-Sensei gestured outside with his head as he asked Yono, "Why don't we go outside and let the little ones mingle?"

Before she could answer, he sent a glare at us, especially me, and warned, "I'm sure they will manage to remain civilised, right?"

Yono sent the same glare at Inaki, who looked away. I maintained Amai-Sensei's glare though, and he eventually rolled his eyes away and walked out with Yono Hyuuga.

I can't be sure of it, but I think I saw subtle moves from them, not 100% sure, but if I saw that right, then they were speaking in coded signs, so it was probably something important, or private.

Once the adults walked out of the restaurant, and the other people stopped looking at us, I picked a slab of meat with my metal chopsticks and broke the awkward silence by saying, "Don't just stand there, you look stupid. Have some."

For once, neither Izumi nor Laiko said anything to me taking command as they resumed to eating. Inaki looked ready for a brawl, but Four Eyes placed a hand on his shoulder and sent a harmless smile my way, replying, "Thank you for the invitation, we're starving after that long mission. That was quite an enjoyable one too, a C Rank Mission. You guys must know what I'm talking about…"

I could see it in his eyes, that he knew he was treading on dangerous grounds. Not very surprising, considering he was of the same generation as my teammates, he must have heard of my predecessor's death, and probably of our last C Rank Mission.

However, what was surprising, was the very fact he dared to say that, despite knowing what he was talking about. Not everyone could be friends, but speaking of someone who went to school with you and died in action was… cold.

Before I could really do anything, Laiko slammed his fist into the table, turning the whole restaurant silent, and Izumi's eyes turned into a pair of Sharingan.

Four Eyes raised his arms and smiled apologetically, "My bad, it was an honest mistake. I forgot about what happened to…"

Laiko was shaking as he cut him off and uttered with a scathing voice, "Say. One. More. Word!"

Interestingly enough, even Inaki, Four Eyes' teammate, looked at him disgusted. After a moment of thought, I looked at him in the eyes and said, "You're not as smart as you think you are."

Four Eyes turned to me, trying to look clever and composed, but I could see he was annoyed in his eyes. I played with my chopsticks as I said, "You are setting your fellow villagers against you. One day or another, this will get you killed."

Both Izumi and Laiko calmed down, but they were still looking at Four Eyes dangerously. The latter replied with a calm voice, "You're one to talk. I've heard about you, you go around annoying people. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black."

I shook my head and said, "I only annoyed Inaki. Maybe he won't like me, but he'll probably forget about me tomorrow. You, on the other end, invoked killing intent."

With that said, I projected a part of my killing intent, as well as the might and heaviness of my chakra onto Four Eyes. He visibly paled in a second as his muscles turned tense.

Taking another piece of meat, I saw that while both of his teammates were affected, it didn't look as bad as him. I added, "So you never even took a life? You look pathetic, compared to your teammates."

I took back my killing intent, and Four Eyes started panting, while his two teammates were sweating. Chewing on the slab of meat I had grabbed and playing with my chopsticks, I said, "Don't be too proud, or it will come back to bite you in the ass."

Four Eyes was silent, but I could see great anger in his gaze. He felt humiliated. Well, who cares about what he feels, if I cared about every person I angered I would lose my hair to stress.

Inaki snorted softly, his face recovering color as he said, "She's just like Itachi isn't she?"

The question was directed to my teammates, but I answered with a grin, "Itachi-chan's a sweetheart compared to me."
