Selfish

The fact that Bing Yue had become pregnant immediately brought nearly the entirety of Xu Yue's attention onto her, something which Bing Yue seemed to appreciate very much.

Looking at Xu Yue, who was staring at her with an attentive look on her face, Bing Yue couldn't help but faintly smile.

At the same time, Bing Yue couldn't help but turn her attention onto the third person inside the room, who also seemed ready to help her at any moment.

As she looked at Hulli Jing, who was standing next to her with a serious look on her face, a confused look appeared on Bing Yue's face.

Based on what Bing Yue knew about Hulli Jing, she didn't see the reason why the other party actually wanted to look after her, causing her to appear somewhat suspicious.

Of course, Bing Yue knew that Hulli Jing held no desire to harm her, as such, eventually, after a few months, Bing Yue became a bit curious.

Then, the moment Xu Yue disappeared, Bing Yue took action.

"Why are you so keen on looking after me, you should know very well that nobody can harm me," said Bing Yue as she looked at Hulli Jing, causing the latter to merely stare at her.

As she looked into Hulli Jing's eyes, which seemed to penetrate into her soul, Bing Yue remained silent.

"That's not the case, there is somebody that can harm you, that same person also has a desire to do so," said Hulli Jing, causing Bing Yue to freeze for a brief moment before shaking her head.

"There is no need for you to worry, your appearance here will not change or prevent anything that might happen, you don't have to worry about me," said Bing Yue as she stretched out her hand and touched Hulli Jing's cheek, causing the ears of the fox to slightly sway to the side.

"You should know best that the person I'm worried about isn't you, it's Xu Yue herself, but in the end, it looks as though nothing that I do here really matter's in the end", said Hulli Jing after making sure that the latter couldn't hear their discussion, causing Bing Yue to faintly nod.

"You don't have to worry about, this is for the best, but I do want you to help me with something," said Bing Yue as she suddenly pinched Hulli Jing's cheek, causing the latter's ears to move once again.

As Xu Yue reappeared inside the room and looked at Bing Yue, who was currently pinching Hulli Jing's cheek, a confused look couldn't help but appear on her face.

"Since when were you two this close?" asked Xu Yue as she looked at the two with a confused look on her face, causing Bing Yue to shake her head.

"What, are you afraid that I might steal her away from you, or are you afraid that she might steal me away from you?" retorted Bing Yue, causing Xu Yue to appear speechless.

"You really look just how you looked back when you were young, elder sister Bing," said Xu Yue as she approached the two women.

Ever since she had come out of her small world and learned about the Three Thousand Regions, Bing Yue had unconsciously become quite a bit more restrained around Xu Yue.

As this was purely unconscious, Xu Yue could do nothing to change this, and as such, Bing Yue had finally assumed a slightly lower position compared to Xu Yue.

Right now though, for some reason Bing Yue seemed to have lost those restraints, which made Xu Yue feel quite happy.

Time then began passing, as one month went after another.

Although she couldn't be compared to the likes of Hulli Jing, Bing Yue was still not any sort of normal human, as such, she stayed pregnant for around three years.

But as time passed, and Xu Yue spent more and more time around Bing Yue, she slowly but surely became more and more confused, as a faint feeling emerged within the back of her mind.

Even though Xu Yue was usually very calm, she ignored this feeling and kept her attention on Bing Yue.

With both the wealth and power of Xu Yue, Bing Yue's pregnancy and birth went extraordinarily smooth, and in the end, the latter gave birth to a perfectly healthy boy.

But as she looked at Bing Yue, who had a large smile on her face, as well as Hulli Jing, who seemed to be somewhat scared, Xu Yue suddenly frowned as she discovered something, causing Hulli Jing to suddenly freeze.

Even so, at this moment, Xu Yue had no time to pay any attention to Hulli Jing, as all of her attention had been placed on Bing Yue, who was still lying on that bed with the boy in her hands.

But at this moment, Xu Yue was no longer blinded by the illusions that Hulli Jing had laid upon her, and could see the true Bing Yue.

Looking at Bing Yue, who rapidly loosing vitality, even though she looked young, Xu Yue couldn't help but suddenly wave her hand, causing a huge amount of vitality to pour into Bing Yue's body.

Sadly, though, not a single bit of vitality entered Bing Yue's body, as the latter simply didn't accept it and poured the last bits of her life into the boy in front of her.

Even though she knew the reason for Bing Yue's actions, Xu Yue couldn't help but clench her teeth, causing Bing Yue to slightly chuckle.

"You don't have to be so sad, you know my potential very well, no matter how much you helped me, I wouldn't be able to progress beyond the Major Transcendence realm, and in the end, my life would run out just like this," said Bing Yue as she embraced Xu Yue and dragged her down to her level.

Even though she knew that this was the case, and she had known this fact for a very long time, Xu Yue still clenched as she heard these words.

"You haven't even lived half of your lifespan, why would you do this?!"

"For someone like you, who will become a true immortal, what difference does a hundred thousand years truly make, isn't it more meaningful for me to leave something behind for you which will last longer than me?" asked Bing Yue as she poured her vitality into the child trying to increase his potential as much as possible.

Hearing this, Xu Yue remained silent, causing Bing Yue to let out another smile.

"If you don't agree with this, then just consider me selfish, wanting to leave as deep of an impression into you as possible before I go, I achieved this didn't I?" asked Bing Yue as the little boy floated over to Hulli Jing.

As she felt her life leave her body, and as she watched the painful look on Xu Yue's face, Bing Yue smiled.

"Hopefully you will remember me for all eternity," mumbled Bing Yue as she looked at the sad Xu Yue with a happy look on her face, knowing that Xu Yue would definitely remember her for a while, before the last bits of life suddenly flew out of her body
