Seeing Ling'er looking at him like this, Xu Qing was surprised.

"What's wrong, Ling'er?"

"It's nothing." Ling'er blushed and ran to Xu Qing's side. She grabbed his arm and said softly.

"Brother Xu Qing, let's go out for a walk, okay?"

Xu Qing looked at the sky. At that moment, it was noon outside. Hence, he nodded and walked out of the house with Ling'er, strolling around the city.

Throughout the journey, Ling'er was joyful, bouncing around Xu Qing like a child. Her adorable demeanor brought smiles to the residents of the city who saw her.

Some households even brought out their own food, and as Ling'er walked by, she greeted everyone with joy and enjoyed the food offered to her.

Looking at Ling'er's innocent appearance, Xu Qing smiled.

As they walked, they passed through streets and avenues, eventually arriving at the school.
