Antithetical

Ieyasu narrowed his eyes as he witnessed just how powerful the Forge of Creation was. It allowed Rui to create a technique that was just so astronomically antithetical to the attacks that Ieyasu had deployed that he was able to entirely negate whatever was thrown at him. 

And yet, Ieyasu was just getting started.

FWOOOOOSH!!!

An inferno of heat erupted from Ieyasu, coursing against Rui and threatening to incinerate him where he stood.

And yet—

WHOOSH

The inferno died the moment it came near Rui, as though inherently unwilling to hurt him.  

In reality, Rui had simply deployed a new technique, the Blizzard of Breath, which not only partially employed the fundamental building blocks of Niflheim to lower temperatures but also manipulated heavens to flush the region immediately around him with carbon dioxide to stop the conflagration from spreading.

WHOOSH
